Grapes with seeds should be illegal.

Basically horrors movies and their fans. I just saw another "respectable" horror movie and 5 minutes one of the kids was drawing, like how many times do I need to see the same ****? (I literally timed it, 5 minutes and 16 seconds in we see the kid draw for the first time). A house, an attic, a medium. It is the same ****, all the time. Like, can't we have a horror film in a condominium? (Yeah, I know not all horror films take place in houses, I'm exaggerating). Can't we a have a horror film at homeless encampment?
        Spoiler

And people keep watching them, they don't get tired of this ****. And every year I have to hear about the "good horror film of this year" and 9 out of 10 times it isn't, it is the same ****.

Does the horror movie in mind have to do with haunting/invading said home, or just the protagonist and their family living in that home?

I don't know what started the "kid drawing" craze, but I know a lot of new U.S. horror tropes dawned from The Ring (2002), which I know is an American remake of Ringu (1998). All protagonists in The Ring live in high-end apartments.

Anyway, beyond the "living in house" trope is often the "moving to a new place" trope, or the "kid drawing" trope is "nevermind any supernatural elements, the kid is just plain weird and withdrawn already" trope haha. Am I sick of these? Just the kid one, as I've mentioned it before in a post. I wish that someday they just wrote any of the children as normal people. That doesn't happen too often.

It's part of the reason why I have a soft spot for B movie slashers and 80's horror movies that end up being more funny and enjoyable than scary.

I'm leaving, bye!". Like, your kid is 4; quit with the mind games, just go pick them up and carry them out.

Y'all ever heard that crap? I've heard that more than once.
Or even worse, when the kid is crying and throwing a tantrum and the mom does that stupid nonsense.
Adding onto that, I definitely see it happening more and more because of "modern parenting techniques". Like another point on here said, there's more than 1 way to raise a child, but at the same time, I think people go overboard on various techniques. It's ok to do different things and try other methods than blindly following the "parenting group approved method of managing the development and growth of children".

I've seen it happen a lot too. Your kid could be crying or throwing a tantrum and the parent just sits back like "come over here.....why are you doing that? I'm counting to 5 and you should stop", because supposedly saying "no" is prohibited (I'm saying this factually, theres parenting books where telling kids NO isn't recommended). Or their kid runs wild, and they just stand there watching the kid do what they do.

I even know someone who was complaining to me that when they were out with their kid, some stranger came up to them telling them that they shouldn't be standing so far away (in this instance, I'd say it was at least 20 feet away, and at a waterfront park) from their kid while in public like that. I was trying to hold back a smile because I agreed with that stranger. Kids are unpredictable, they could go from just walking on a sidewalk to just randomly chasing a butterfly onto the road/bike lane or going to hug a random dog they see on the sidewalk, or ending up in the water in this case.

"Gameplay trailers" that are really just game engine footage or cinematic trailers. Why can't we just call them what they are?

I mentioned it before, there needs to be a rule on that. This is basically false advertising.

So if I make a video game with horrible graphics and gameplay, but insert a bunch of real life videos into the game, and maybe a 5 second cutscene with crazy good graphics, all that can be included in the trailer?

You can look at trailers and screenshots of some games on ps2 or ps3 and swear they're modern stuff.

Pay raises that are just hour increases.

You shouldn’t have to work 50-60 hours to make what you deserve. Don’t be a fool.

                        Software on a subscription model.

Its ridiculous how they can charge people per year for using the software.

For instance, new laptops don't come with Microsoft Office anymore. If you want Office, you have to pay PER YEAR for it.

That's ridiculous. I know there are alternatives, and I've gone with it, but its horrible how you can't even have a basic thing like that anymore. My old laptops might have Office 2010 or whatever, and I can still use it to this day. Meanwhile an office subscription would wind up costing more than the laptop does at the end of that laptops life.
