Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I hate when people complain about working long hours period. I've deployed to Iraq for 15 months, 12 hour days, 7 days a week. A place where you dread holidays since those are the days with increased activity.
Next time you hear somebody complain about their work hours, let them know their is a soldier on a patrol right now who's just glad he's seen another day.
Not to mention they're in the desert too.Comment

I don't know how to grill lol. I'm not a big steak fan so it was never a priority to learn for myself. The food I "cook" for myself can be done with an oven, toaster, microwave, or Foreman grill. As a man I get looked down upon for this, which grinds my gears.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
So I sold an entertainment center on a facebook exchange group. Long story short the lady and her husband had to come to my house to get it. After taking forever to get here despite living 10 minutes away, they pull into my drive. As they pull in the lady flicks a cigarette butt out of the cracked window into my yard. Really? If I wasn't already late for the movie that I told her I was trying to catch I would have told them to get the **** out of here just on principal alone and sold it to someone else.
The more I work in retail and interact with people I don't know, the less hope I have for the population in general.Comment

Ollie you have more self-control than me. I would've picked it up and thrown it back in the truck. People are rude to each other - its sad.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I had already told the lady to pretty much hurry her *** up because I wanted to leave at 1:05 to go to the a movie. They take their sweet *** time leaving the house and get here around 1:05 which isn't to bad, but then they moved like molasses, probably because all 3 of them were smoking in a tiny Ford Ranger.Last edited by SuperBowlNachos; 05-28-2012, 11:19 PM.Comment

Leave junk everywhere, garbage, wrappers, they take merchandise throw it on the floor, don't bother to put it back anywhere near where it belongs, if it's not locked up it's getting messed up.
They demand everything to be done for them, and get upset if something is not available or don't get what they want, and basically just expect employees to kiss their *** at all times.
I'd say 80% of the people I deal with are like that. Funny because when I shop I try to put items back in condition I found them, in the place I found it, whether it be a shelf, or table... If I'm trying on clothes I'll try to hang it back on the hanger, or re-fold it then put it back but if not I'll neatly hang it on a rack in the fitting room. If I have garbage I look for a garbage can, not throw it on a shelf, and I know to wait for the next available help because I know stores get busy... If they don't have something I need to look elsewhere because *gasp* stores do run out of stock. If I'm too late then I'm out of luck.
Guess shame on me for expecting others to do the same eh.Minnesota Vikings

When stores quit selling your favorite brand of cereal.
I'm looking at you all stores in my area that used to sell Big Frosted Mini Wheats.
When places start charging for stuff that was free.
I'm looking at you Domino's. The first couple of times I bought you bread sticks, I got the marinara sauce for free. Now they charge for it.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague
