A "Friend" that bails on you at the last second, only to then be seen posting all over Facebook "Need something to do", "big party tonight, bro", and other **** like that.

When people for get what the 4th (or any holiday) is really about.

Let's celebrate SUMMER by grilling and shooting fireworks on the 4th. That's about what it's come around to.

            Tacky patriotism.

Narrative news. Its every where and its annoying. I don't care if LeBron is the Luke Skywalker of basketball. I don't care that Timmy is suck down a damn well. I don't need a story or a face all the time. Just give me the facts, evidence, statistics, and whatever else that is actually relevant.

Here's the thing: I'm a winter guy. I can't stand summer and I also like cloudy/rainy (and snowy) days. I realize that many (most?) people are effected by clouds/rain/light and many (most?) find it depressing.

I've been told so many times that if I like that, it means that I'm a depressed person. That doesn't make sense! How can I be the one suffering depression, when I find it actually pleasant and non-issue, while those who say this are the ones who find it depressing?! If such thing as clouds/grayish cause you to be depressed (as human and common as it is) - YOU(!!) are the one who's depressed.

Please someone tell me that you understand what I'm saying.

That seems to be the common assumption when it comes to weather, but I know a lot of people that find gloomy weather to be quite enjoyable, myself included and I'm a Summer guy. Or you could say, that is the media fueled mood when it comes to gloomy weather.

As a matter of fact, I find any kind of weather is awesome. I think the problem comes when you get a type of weather pattern overstays it's welcome. Too much of something always gets boring. But boring is a much different story than depressing. Why would anybody bring up depression unless their depressed?

You're right, too much of anything is too much. I must agree with that. And it's really rare for me to meet someone who thinks the same, especially here, where anyone I talk to pretends as if it snows here 365 days a week and we never see the sun (actually, Winnipeg, is among the top cities with the most sunshine hours).

I guess people like to complain...and hey, I complain about summer, so I'm not better.

It's not that I don't like summer as much as I don't like the heat. You're sweaty and uncomfortable, your utility bill soars, you have to do yardwork, videogame releases slow to a crawl. **** summer.

I like summer, when I don't have to work in the heat. When I'm around the lake, out wakeboarding, I love it.

Fall/Winter are the best seasons by far. Don't listen to that garbage.

Having the 4th off for the first time in years and it being cloudy and rainy.

Also, give me Spring and Fall. The weather is nicer, no humidity, the bugs are either not out or all dying, good video games come out.

Summer sucks once you're out of school.

The only good things about summer are baseball, bbq, and babes.

Give me the joy of the "fresh out of hibernation wearing really short skirts and revealing clothes because it's the first nice day out" of Spring over summer babes every day.
