Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

I'm convinced that some sicknesses are are in the mind and also rely on what someone's body gets used to. I put some foods back in the fridge, but I've forgot to pack up other things and then wake up the next day and still take it for lunch or munch on it for breakfast (chicken fingers).

I've never had food poisoning from anywhere, in my entire life. People used to bitch to me, when I worked at Captain D's in HS about how they got sick from eating there and I always said, "hundreds of other people ate there that day and didn't get sick.. maybe it's just your body's reaction and not the food".

My local sports talk channel switching from ESPN Radio affiliation to CBS.

We just got a new CBS station here on the FM side. Thankfully, it only replaced an all comedy station. We now have ESPN, Fox, and CBS radio.

There's gotta still be an ESPN affiliate. While I was in the military, the local ESPN got bought by Fox Sports Radio, so ESPN just bought one of the other local channels. Have you looked around for it?

I haven't done any internet research on it yet, but I went through the FM and AM dials today and there was nothing.

Ended up listening to old Football Ramble podcasts instead.

Social bull****. Like when person you've been corresponding about a job with says "call me on the 2nd if the online app thing still doesn't work" doesn't pick up either of your calls or return your voicemail.

*******s. Sick of these little societal things. Meant to do nothing but piss you off further.

Don't know if this has been said, but when you run into a girl you used to like back in the day that wouldn't give you any play and then she casually says "I used to have such a big crush on you back then". Get the **** outta here with that.

All that does is reveal that they knew back then and they loved getting that attention from you so they did nothing to let you down.

My philosophy professor had 5 different books with his course. We really only used 1, and the other 4 we read a chapter or two. What a waste.

The league of professors who schedule midterms and giant assignments all in the same day/week. They have to plan that **** man.

Being back at work. Remembering that I had a ton to do before taking vacation; not remembering what all I have to do now that I'm back.

Couldn't he have just photo-copied packets of the Chapters from the other books he wanted to use? Instead of making you guys use the whole actual book.

                                The price of textbooks.

                                Such a scam.
