To some people, yeah, it matters.

There's people who won't buy any food that was farmed or produced outside of the United States.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

I'll tell you guys a major gear grinder for me - Having to buy **** you don't need, but are forced to have. The biggest having to do with certain forms of insurance.

I used my bank to purchase some new equipment for my business this year and one of the requirements is to have insurance on it until it is paid off. Fair enough and completely reasonable, except now, this year I have to pay extra for, get this, freakin' terrorist insurance!

What in the hell do I need terrorist insurance for in North Dakota? Not only is it a risk I am willing to take, but it's a risk I don't have an option to take to begin with.

I mean really, how does this factor in to what I do? We don't work near the Air Force base and there ain't nothing else here anyone would want to bomb/infect/terrorize anyways!

I don't want to pay for this ****. And I doubt I'm targeted by some rouge Jihad cell hell bent on blowing me up.

It's like the bank or individuals responsible for this requirement just picture this scene or something:

*Far away in the Middle East*

The scene unfolds with some guy just hauling ***, all out of breath, running into a cave. He reaches a table with another man sitting there and just starts panting:

"Abdul, *takes deep breath* baumy's business in North Dakota just bought 3 new Honda generators."

*A look of concern crosses the mans face*

"My God. We must stop this my brother. You gotta blow that **** up!"

      "ALALALALALALALALALA!!!!!!!!!!"

*Scene fades out with Ak-47's being fired into the air and a lot of screaming*

      Please.

The oil traffic here would snuff them before they got to my place anyways.

        LOL Terrorist Insurance!??

        LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOO @ the little story.

Just the concept of that is hilarious.

If it's as literal as it sounds that's sad. Depends on what they define as terrorism. Could mean anyone in the US destroying your property, not just stereotypical "terrorists"?

Absolutely. Obviously the average person and certainly myself automatically envision the stereotypical Hollywood terrorist right away, but even domestic terrorism is so unheard of that it makes paying for this sort of thing seem like just another unnecessary banking law put in place.

It makes me wonder if sabotage or true terrorism has really wreaked so much havoc that this is a legitimate worry from banks/insurance companies or if they're just not all conspiring to take all of my money

I'd say it's more about the green backs than anything.

Like honestly, how often is home insurance really needed for how often we pay for it? Or at least for what it costs.

Car is probably the only one that makes sense, because what you do in your car can effect other people at any given moment.

              Exactly.

              Car insurance is legit.

People who refer to the NFL Playoffs as the NFL Tournament.

Or when those same people try to call the Divisional Round, "Elite Eight" and Conference Championships, "Final Four".

                No.....just no.

                      Women's basketball.

Especially when they take up space on the only court I can play on for free.
