Guy comes exactly 3 hours 50 minutes into the 4 hour window.

His pants was at his knees basically. So that grinded my gears. To hear he was a Marine, sagging like that grinded my gears even more. 20 minutes of running tests, he says oh it must be something on the pole. I was like no crap, told you guys that weeks ago. So now I have another service ticket and have to wait for a pole guy to come. Because apparently now they don't teach every service tech how to work on the pole and fix stuff anymore.

And on top of that, he says on his database, no refresh signal was ever sent to this house. I was like what, your customer service center said the opposite, that they sent so many to the house that they weren't allowed to anymore. So who in the hell was that service lady sending the refresh signal to ?
I would call Comcast and complain, and threaten to take your business elsewhere. They should get scared and send a dude out immediately.

I live in Vermont, there is no else where. You either have Comcast for internet or you have dial up. So that would be an idle threat.

Living in VA (and having Comcast) compared to living in NC (TWC), I don't see what the big fn deal is with TWC. If these ppl had to use Comcast for their cable services, they would lose their ****. I hated Comcast, with a passion.

TWC CS seems so much more pleasant to deal with.

I've had my Comcast DVR stop working at least 5 times in the last 6 months. Been through 3 of them.

A gear grinder for me is all these dang gas pumps asking me if I want a car wash before it lets me pump my gas. If I wanted an gotdamn car wash I wouldn't go to the gas pump to get one, Smh.

I'm not saying this should tip more because they're rich. But when they're 6 year old is ordering Filet Mignon and only eats the mashed potatoes, and they rack up their bill, you would expect a better gratuity for the service I'm giving them.

And they should be willing to tip more because they're rich enough to let their 6 year old waste a perfectly good Filet Mignon and don't even bother taking it home. You would think they'd be willing to help the little guys out.

Well then they wouldn't be rich.

Unless of course you're a non-profit organization then they would get that money back.

The fact that there's not an "Out of Context" thread on OS grinds me gears.
