Based on that reasoning, technically no past statistic affects the current team because there is a 99% chance the stats are based on a team and/or players that are not the same as those on the court right now. History tends to repeat itself, though, so it would prove at least mildly significant if you were to analyze it.

Would be awesome if Jefferson county wasn't completely bankrupt with little plans to change anything. The county admin/government has run itself into the ground with corruption, and the citizens are paying for it.

But yeah, Birmingham needs something besides UAB and the Barons. I'd definitely be on board.

I forget the exact details of the Sonics/Thunder move, but usually when a team moves there is more than enough time for the city and state to do something if they really want to. Usually cities play hardball and then whine when the teams call them out on it.

I feel bad for fans of cities that lose teams, but usually those cities had an "out" if they really wanted the team.

People aren't allowed to be unhappy about the weather?

My complaints about the weather are very situational

95+ degrees outside and I'm off work ? Hell yes. You will find me at the lake or floating around my pool.

95+ degrees and I'm at work ? I'm miserable and bitching about it.

Raining while I'm at work ? Hell yeah.

Raining while I'm off work on any day, but Sunday ? **** this.

20 degrees while I'm at work ? ****kkkkkkkk

20 degrees and I'm off work ? Hell yeah, time to game.
