When calling a company based in the US, and the first thing you hear is:
"If you would like English, please press 1."

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I get so sick of the way my job operates sometimes. I handed my boss a list of vehicles I wanted to release as options for a customer. They were in the holding lot. I walked by the guy like 5 times in the past 15 minutes and he hasn't once looked at me and said, "Hey I released those for you."
I ask him about it because it's urgent and he says, "You didn't get my e-mail ? I released them when you gave me the list".
Seriously ? Why do we have to always communicate through e-mail. Is it that hard just to acknowledge that you got something done I'm waiting on.
It's not like he was too busy to acknowledge me when I walked by. Dude was chatting to a co worker about kids and vacation plans.

That was quite an intentional mistake to show how stupid it looks and sounds - just as bad as "I seen".Comment

******* Canker sore underneath my tongue. It hurts to eat, which is really annoying. You also don't realize how much you move your tongue (or at least I do) until there's pain every time you do.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. And it was only at 8 PM so I can't blame it on alcohol, either. Haha :wink:Last edited by gopher_guy; 06-02-2013, 01:37 PM.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

I think the "Keep Calm and ___" shirts period are stupid, Chive or not.--
