You can say that about any franchise that doesn't win often lol

I always like when the Cubs suck, because then I can go to Wrigley super cheap haha

Don't worry, in about a year or two, all of them will be back and ruin it for those who had to suffer through the last 2-3 years of BS.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

I get so sick of the way my job operates sometimes. I handed my boss a list of vehicles I wanted to release as options for a customer. They were in the holding lot. I walked by the guy like 5 times in the past 15 minutes and he hasn't once looked at me and said, "Hey I released those for you."

I ask him about it because it's urgent and he says, "You didn't get my e-mail ? I released them when you gave me the list".

Seriously ? Why do we have to always communicate through e-mail. Is it that hard just to acknowledge that you got something done I'm waiting on.

It's not like he was too busy to acknowledge me when I walked by. Dude was chatting to a co worker about kids and vacation plans.

It's not just teams that don't win. It's all teams.

I see it happen with Giants and Yankees fans in New York. People that never talk sports or those teams but suddenly start raving when they clinch a playoff spot.

But I guess those are the people that buy tickets and merchandise.

I welcome Texas Rangers bandwagoners. Food, merchandise, and ticket sales give the team more spending money.

I would indulge in that thought process, but with Rogers as your owner, most of that is just pocketed by the team.

Netflix not having The Simpsons available for instant streaming. So whenever I want to watch The Simpsons I have to dig out the box sets.

So that's why our payroll went from $75 million to almost $120 million? Man, they must be killing it to still pocket after spending an extra $45 million!

I sense the sarcasm but TV numbers went WAY up, which is a huge source of revenue. Casuals are great for that.

Oh, gear grinder: casual Jays fans lol.

Yea, but I don't think TV accounted for a 60% increase in payroll.

I don't have to worry about casual fans. The extent of what I see in 'Merica is the douches that wear flat brimmed Blue Jays hats because they think it looks cool, but can't name more than maybe Jose Bautista.

You and me both. When I see a Reds cap I get all excited, but then I'm like I know this person isn't a fan, just wearing it for "style."

Yea, that was the downside to going back to the old logo. People think it is "retro" so they eat that **** up.
