I do not like cheese on chili dogs and I'm forced to say ''no cheese'' every time, otherwise I always am given it without fail. This is at the Sneaky Pete's I frequent. They should know me by now and I shouldn't have to say it, but I can't risk the chance they will cheese it up.T-BONE.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Credit card was expiring so they obviously sent me a new one.
On the card stuck on says to call that number to activate the card.
I called the number, entered my card number, listened to some 2 minute long message detailing my account. It then ends by saying "the fastest way to activate your card is through online/mobile means, there is no need to call".
Ok...so why does the instructions in the mail say to call then?Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
For my people that still go into the office for work:
When you come back from getting some lunch and a coworker walks up on you right when you’re about eat and asks you a question that then turns into a “Can you come and check this out for me?” Or “Oh take your time, eat your lunch and come by when you’re done!”
But to them. “Take your time” means make it quick.#RespectTheCultureComment

Most people just eat their lunches in a similar spot as their work area. I go as far away as possible. To me, if you're eating lunch in your work environment, it opens you up more to getting bombarded with work stuff. People don't know if you're on your lunch break or just going on your phone, or higher up's just think once they see you're done eating your break is over because "what else are you doing besides sitting down staring at your phone".
It's why I go as far away from everyone during my lunch. Nobody needs to know how long I take to eat or what I do once I'm done eating. And if anyone's calling me about work stuff when I'm on lunch, I'm not bothering.
You gotta set boundaries at some point or else people won't ever learn and eventually they'll take the hint.Comment
