The reading comprehension of typical Americans is mind bogging bad.

    Specifically social media.

That is all I have to say, LOL

My dad passed away in late March. Obviously that means that his property goes on to the next of kin which is me. The house is not on the market, and it never will be.

I have been getting 4 to 5 texts and calls a day from various groups soliciting me to try and buy the house ever since then. If I don't respond to the texts then they send follow ups. I joined the do not call registry, but they say it might take 30 days for that to become official.

      So annoying.

I still get random cold calls for my grandparents house some 6 years later. I just ignore it and block the number. Even if I was looking to sell, which I'm not and will never be in my life time, I wouldn't go off someone randomly contacting me.

I get the same mail every week, having moved into my childhood home after my mother passed away. Sometimes, the letters are even legitimately handwritten, asking to purchase the home. I also get the printed “handwritten” fonts very often.

I get it. Land isn't cheap, especially in large amounts. Just leave us alone, ha.

packs of lunch meat with all the individual slices intertwined together. I don't want to pick apart all these slices! I can't grab a group of slices because they're connected to other slices, I can't grab a single slice for the same reason. Why, deli meat packagers, why?

I remember when I was a teenager, and being pissed at the world I did something that repulsed my mom to no end.

I was in that exact situation, trying to peel off 5-6 slices for my sammich, but the slices kept tearing, and not coming out... so I grab the entire meat slab out of the package and just started to eat it.

I'll never forget my mom's grossed out look at me, while I looked at her and (with food in my mouth) yelled, "WHAT!?" [emoji23]

Isn't that the point? It's stuck together so you use more quicker (whether you realize it or not) and will need to re-buy sooner.

If there's one thing most food companies are doing more of its finding ways for people to not be able to keep things as long as they used to so that they'd have to re-buy more sooner.

Had to cover a different building this week for work, a property I worked at ~2 years ago.

The office and shop hadn't been cleaned since I left.

When a game is being rebroadcast later on, maybe ****in make it so that the result isn't shown on the bottom bar until the rebroadcast is over.

When you’re watching Sports with a group of people and there’s the one person who likes to make it known they don’t watch Sports and are real smug with it.

Ya’ll can just be sitting there and this person will all of a sudden be like “Heh, I wish you cared about (insert random non-sport topic/thing)like ya’ll do about this game”. I know it’s real prevalent on Twitter too lol

And they also say some corny *** **** like "sportsball" or something like that. Yeah you're real sophisticated and enlightened. Go to an art museum or a hike and shut the **** up then.

Selling stuff online is always annoying.

Been trying to sell something for the past few weeks, have a bunch of people asking if it's available, I say it is. I ask them how they prefer paying and they mention which method they prefer.

So then I say once they pay I can send it to them, then they just stop replying.

So you ask if it's available, state your preferred payment method, but then don't want to proceed any further?

People like that definitely have issues.

Part of me after I sell it wants to just not tell them, and when they tell me "I'm ready to pay" (if they even do) I'll be like "I'm ready to sell...3 weeks ago when someone bought it because they actually replied back".
