Police Officers that hide, in order to bust people for speeding. If you're sitting in a visible place or catch me while patrolling that's fine, but don't hide off the road with no lights on, on a hill, in grassy medians, behind a tree, on an overpass, etc.

Be visible. Someone may need your ****ing help while you're being a snake in the grass trying to catch someone speeding.

Why are they not able to help someone if they're parked behind a tree?

If a motorist needed to find an officer for something urgent they would be able to spot him if he wasn't hiding. Yeah, there's always 911 and they would get a radio call, but that's not the main point I was wanting to make.

I just think it's a shady practice and sometimes dangerous. State Troopers sit without even their running lights on, on the shoulders of I59 in Birmingham.

Causes everyone to slam on their brakes. That's for sure.

I went between Memphis and Akron so often I memorized where all the hideaways were for cops on I40. Was always easy on I65 in Kentucky and I71 in Ohio because the turnaround points were out in the open.

Sports fans that know nothing about their favorite team or the rules of the league.

Jazz fans are commenting on the Facebook page about why they feel the organization shouldn't have spent money on renovating Energy Solutions Arena, but instead use that same money to pursue Chris Paul or Dwight Howard.

They don't realize they are fans of a Franchise that's notorious for trading and letting their best players leave ?

Notorious? Malone and Stockton were there for over a decade, as well as Jerry Sloan.

Deron Williams is the only fitting example and that was because some apparent behind the scenes drama.

I took it to mean arena money is not money that can be applied to salary.

Notorious was a bad choice of words, but they have made some questionable decisions over the past several years.

So did I. I was just making a completely different point about the same team

Nah, trading Deron is basically the only thing we've done, aside from letting AK47 go to Minnesota.

Do they ever make you do the speed traps? Are the talk of quotas and whatnot true?

I got burned once and now I usually can spot the areas all the cops like to prey on people to make some ticket money.

It does suck when they hide waiting for you to be cruising down a hill or whatnot.

What was the Boozer situation? I remember people thought Deron & Boozer would be the poor man's Stockton/Malone for them. I know he had injury concerns but wasn't he pretty healthy at the end of his deal?
