Yeah, but there's no condescending tone behind that statement from you guys.

OK, 3 things that really 'grind my gears' about Wal-Mart

          1. I shop at Wal-Mart

          2. People who get things and don't put them back in the right place if they don't want it. I mean, I go to look for undershirts, and there is a package of ground beef. Yes , ground beef in the clothes. Are people that lazy, they can't take something back to where it it belongs.

          3. People who leave their shopping carts in the parking lot wherever they want to. Most big-box stores have an area set apart where people can leave their cart, but of course some people just leave their cart where they jolly well please. Never mind somebody might scratch the paint on their car cause you were too lazy to walk 20 feet to return your cart. One person told me "Well that's what the guys who work the parking lot's job is." Those young men are not getting paid a whole hell of a lot, maybe minimum wage, I would actually feel like a dick if I didn't put my cart back in the area where the carts go.

          4. The automatic check line. Somepeople need to just wait in a regular line and let someone else scan their products.

          OK, Rant over.

What's even worse, that Ground beef will be found 8 hours later and then returned to where it belongs

I've done 2 jobs in retail, and am currently picking up a part time retail job during the Summer in addition to working Unloading trucks.

In general what I've learned from all those experiences, is when you let people loose in a store where none of the items belong to them, a great majority of them willl be slobs. I've gone on rants before in here, but yeah that's the shortest I'll keep it.

In rare cases...when I worked at Whole Foods, we have strict guidelines...and I personally would never return something that I felt was unsafe to be put back. It would be loss'd out asap.

                Now at WalMart? IDK..

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

Just came back from Sam's Club to grab something for the wife. On my turn into the parking lot, I see a family of 4 (2 kids, mother, father) with the father holding up a sign. I thought it was for a car wash or something.. Nope.

                    Sign reads...

                    2 Children
                    Need Food
                    Need Job

Seriously? I know the job economy is tough, but you can't get yourself a job at McD's or some small store stocking items?

I understand that some people get in a rough stretch in their lives, but please don't bring your kids into it looking for sympathy.

And maybe instead of standing outside in 90 degree heat for 5-6 hours, begging for food and money, You should spend that time looking for or applying for jobs. You have the father holding the sign bowing his head and smiling at every car passing by. And then you have the mother folding her hands together and saying "Bless you"

Seriously? I just became a father about 14 months ago, If I lost my job, you can bet that you'd see me at 3-4 part time jobs making sure my family is provided for.

Mosquito bites...especially when you have 40 of them.

On the bright side...I'm betting all of those mosquitoes died of alcohol poisoning.

People who complain about their job on a daily basis but yet they been working there for over 10 years. It is like how long can you complain about the same damn co-worker ? After that many years, you should know their routine by now and it shouldn't even bother you anymore.

I hate that. Especially when they talk to you and say, "I really need to look for a new job.." When they've been saying the same thing for the past 6 months!

Speaking of alcohol, rub some mouthwash or rubbing alcohol on them. You won't even know they are there.
