When people throw parties and call them a "Gatsby Party". Wearing a dress or suit doesn't make it a Gatsby party it's still a normal party

That's because the people showing up don't know it means 1920's. Someone I knew did it and just about everyone wore 20's style outfits.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

Apparently if some random person parks in your driveway late at night you have to pay to get it towed away in the morning, and then try to get the money from the guy at a later date.

I mean, I guess I understand it. As a tow truck company, why would you come to tow a car away if you might not get paid for it? But still, the principle is stupid, haha.

The cops were able to help my dad weasel both his and my mom's cars out of our garage so my dad said it was fine and that the guy could just come pick it up later. (One of the cops knew the guy and vouched for him, that he was a good guy and had never been in legal trouble)

Best explanation we could come up with is that the guy was drunk and paranoid about the cops following him home or something. So he figured his best option was to park his vehicle in some random person's driveway and walk the rest of the way home. He lives a little over a mile away.

His brother came with a set of keys and moved the truck into the street, and apparently the guy came shortly after to get it, because it was gone when I woke up. All in all, kind of a funny situation because it didn't cause any real headaches.

When you can't play a game because you need to be connected to their servers in order to play it. Yeah I am looking at you Spartacus Legends. Downloaded that game hours ago, haven't played it yet because Ubisoft servers are down. You would think after Diablo 3, Sim City and Xbox One failures, that companies would stop with that be connected to our servers in order to play our game BS.

People with loud, obnoxious ringtones and text tones. Just pick a simple ring or text tone and be done with it.

November then? Not technically winter yet, but I'd be good with that. Or even April.

I personally always turn my phone on silent when I leave the house and wish other people did the same, but if you need to have it just use the standard tone.

I was at dinner one time and the lady behind my kept getting texts so at least once every minute I kept hearing this annoying tone and the phone vibrating on the table

I hate when people get a phone call, and instead of answering it, or muting the ring tone, they let it ring and ring and ring..

This happened to me last week. Got up early and went to work. It passed 9 o'clock and I'm still the only one here. The phone hasn't rung once, no emails, nothing. Then it hit me. It was Sunday.

When I first moved to Baton Rouge I had a to go to court in Mobile, AL and I accidentally showed up on the wrong day. Mobile is almost three hours away. Talk about a facepalm

We had to close a courtyard to foot traffic this morning to set up a crane for some work this weekend.
I have been yelled at 4 times already this morning from people how have been inconvenienced by having to walk the 30 extra steps around.
                                Give me a break.
