I'm about to buy an electric, I'm tired of crappy gas trimmers that need care like a sickly infant.

I have a battery powered weed eater. I will never go back to a gas one ever again. Just slap in my battery pack and press start.

Nagging injuries that just won't heal. I hurt my Wrist lifting about a month ago and it's gotten slightly better but not where it needs to be.

I fear it could be Sprained or torn ligament, or at worst Ulnar Nerve Damage. I'm doing my best to lay off of it, but it doesn't help that I constantly have to use my hands at work. I have a vacation coming up so hopefully I can keep it wrapped, ice it, and start doing rehab stretches.

This damn fly that will not quit buzzing around me and my computer screen. It's night time so my computer and my desk lamp beside me are the only lights on, and this stupid fly keeps buzzing around the lights since it is attracted to it.

I swatted at the fly and I'm pretty drunk right now, so I knocked my beer over and spilled it all over my desk. Which brings me to my next gear grinder, spilling drinks, especially precious alcoholic drinks. Hate to see a beer go to waste, even if it a cheap one.

Kudos to you for using almost perfect grammar and punctuation while drunk. That's a tough thing to do even when you're not drunk.

See how the cord loops through then back out of that hole in the handle....should be an area to hook on before you thread it back.... it's different from mine but same idea.

                                re: weed eaters / trimmers

We have had a few lemons, but they have always been a cheap homelite weed eater. The two we have now are awesome. They are seriously one pull starters each time you use them and are both commercial grade Echo straight shaft weed eaters.

I just couldn't imagine messing with an electric or battery powered trimmer around my yard. There's too much to weed eat and even if we had enough extension cord to make it work, it would be like lugging around a ****ing vaccuum cleaner through the yard.

The ethanol in the gas is part of the reason gas powered lawn equipment tears up so frequently.

I remember working returns at HD and people would bring their trimmers back next day saying they were messed up and it would be a weed eater that required mixing your own fuel. I would smell the gas in them and say, "You know this is just straight up gas and that's why it wont' start, right ?".

I would still return it, but I always liked to point it out so people wouldn't keep having to return things.
