    Can they be sharpened?

I get a couple years out of clippers, maybe? I guess I’ve never really paid attention to it but I don’t feel like I’m buying them at a crazy pace or anything. I know my dad has a higher-end set he found on Amazon (or just higher-end compared to drug store brand) - they work well but almost too well. Sharp with a very smooth cut but I’ve caught some skin there too when I didn’t feel it. I’ll stick with the drug store brand. Sharp enough to cut your nails but not enough to do any other real damage.
I have 2 pairs, 1 has a built in file and the other doesn't, they may both be 20+ years old. I also always cut my nails after taking a shower so they're softer.

I used to do that oall the time too, but have largely stopped doing that at least for my fingernails. Still do it with my toenails though.

Lol. One did lead to the other tho. Tending to my ankle , I noticed I needed my toenails cut. And my clippers were dull. As they always seemingly are.

maybe you have super strong nails (or super soft?), I've been using the same clippers for close to 20 years

edit: I don't remember the cost but couldn't have been more than $10, probly only $5

For awhile I actually thought it might be soft ( or , more rubbery than soft) nails that was the problem. Until I realized it had to be the clippers. Because with new clippers i can tell there is no rubberiness .

And I think I' m starting to amass too many foot stories. I have some bunion stories , I can let the whole batch go for say, $8, if any body needs any stories of their own.

The type of clippers definitely makes a difference.

I've used the same one set (might be brass or something?) forever, but whenever I've used a different kind, it just doesn't feel right.

But also, it's obviously much easier using them after you showered since your nails would be softer.

My $3000+ laptop is not turning on, again.

A little over a month ago, I spent an entire weekend backing up, wiping, and reinstalling this piece of **** for what appears to be the same reasons as last time. All was going well, until tonight. Now everything is happening all over again.

I am stressing the **** out right now. I can't handle this anymore.

My Surface went out two days ago, I'm gonna try troubleshoot it and another Lenovo laptop I have today. But I'm already looking at my options (isn't that like 75% of the fun? ) and I'm wondering which laptop you went with? $3000 sounds like a serious investment.

Speed bumps bother me. Especially some that are just total monsters and unless you’re barely moving, it feels like it’s taking years off your cars life.

I get why they’re there, and they are a good deterrent, but I hate them nonetheless.

I like the big speed bumps that are actually more fun when I speed up on them.
