This. There's a PetSmart in the complex that I work in, and whenever I pass the sidewalk area leading up to it I always examine the grass next to it and watch my step carefully. Because it's like Landmine field of Dog turds.

This reminded me of a horrific situation I got myself into a few years ago. Will try and keep it to the point here but it's kind of a long story.

Stopped at an ATM outside of Wells Fargo on my way home late one night (like 11 pm-ish). Do my thing at the ATM and went to cut across this little patch of landscaping (like an oval garden with some shrubs and mulch) between the bank and the parking lot next to it. Feel something stuck to the bottom of my shoe as I'm cutting through said garden, and assumed it was just a chunk of the mulch. Without looking I just reach my hand down to try and pull it out of my shoe, and nope...definitely not mulch, a nice fresh pile of dog ****. Needless to say, shove my fingers right into it. So now not only do I have dog poop all over my shoe, but all over my hand. It's late so there are no gas stations or anything nearby to stop and wash my hand...I'm in the middle of town so there is nothing but concrete around, no nice patches of grass to go try and wipe my shoe off in.

I actually feel as if I may have blacked out from the horror, because I still to this day have no recollection of how I drove home (20 miles or so) with dog poop on my RIGHT shoe and my right hand without getting it all over inside my car.
