Oh definitely, UCONN sucks.

I did prefer the 1-A and 1-AA designations, but also still hear quite a few people refer to them as such.

No. You're just jealous because Towson has surpassed the Blue Hens lol. But seriously, I would just like to clarify that while Towson went 7-4 last year, 2 of those losses were to LSU and Kent State, and I'm sure everyone remembers how easily LSU handled them (not). They were also CAA co-champs, and got totally shafted by not getting a playoff bid. I mean seriously, Villanova (one of the other CAA co-champions) got in the playoffs over Towson despite having lost to them that season. Garbage. I'm not bitter though.

They also made the playoffs on a 9-2 season two years ago.

Anyway, the point is it's pretty much unanimous that Towson is definitely a good team. No way you can hang the average tag on them. Delaware on the other hand, very average.

I went to Delaware for one year so I don't exactly call them my team. Pretty sure one of those two still has been to a national championship game the past few years... :wink: But if you do want to bring up Towson vs. Delaware, last year was the first time Delaware lost to them since 2006, so we'll see this year.

The one UConn supporter that started this hasn't been back. Maybe we made him feel bad.

Turned on my 360, was about to start playing GTAV, wife walks into the living room, you know the dog needs a bath. I'm thinking why she wait until I got my drink, chips and everything set ready for a long GTAV playing session to tell me give the dog a bath ? Really ?

It is like wives have that I sense you about to have fun without me radar, let me give you something to do to delay your fun.

This. My girlfriend just did this to me the other day; I'd been sitting in the living room doing some work for my 12 pm class the next day, I finish up and decide its time for some gaming. I go to the kitchen and cook up some pizza rolls and snag a drink for me to sit down and play a lot of Kingdom Hearts 1.5. Its like a sixth sense or something, because as soon as I load my save, she comes in the room and tells me to that I need to clean the bathroom. Its not like it couldn't wait, the bathroom wasn't super dirty...or even visibly dirty for that matter. But yeah, females love to interrupt gaming.

I'm not currently living with any females so them putting out isn't left up to household chores or anything. Luckily I'm not playing that game right now.

Also, I hope not. If my fiancee has something she wants me to do (take the trash out, clean something, etc) and she sees me gaming, she'll ask if I'm busy in the game. Then she'll tell me what she wants me to do and says do it whenever. She doesn't do the passive-aggressive thing after either, like get upset after she says "do it whenever" (which for most females means "do it right ****ing now.")

Depends. If its something that takes less than 10 minutes, sure. If it isn't, they can wait until I'm done if its the first time they've mentioned it.

Being interrupted during a video game in and of itself doesn't piss me off but they ALWAYS go to the standard "it's just a video game, you can play it later" argument. That pisses me off. I own 6 PS3 games so I'm not a hardcore gamer but don't play it off like my hobby is easily shelved.

No I didn't, I calmly explained what I'd been doing all day and how I was talking a well deserved break to play some games. She understood and told me to clean it when I was done. I did it when I finished playing a couple hours later, nothing more too it.

But having said that, Husker's "it's only a game answer" is one that I've heard before. And I responded by saying that her Housewives is "only a TV show, but that doesn't mean I can interrupt you from watching it to instantly come and do something I want you to." She got it better after that analogy and we moved on like adults.

My point still stands, women have a 6th sense about gaming.

It's like GMSS (and so many others). If lady senses you having fun, with out her, it's time to put a stop to that.

I'm sure it's not really like that, but it sure seems like it; more so than just an occasional coincidence.

A couple friends and I were discussing things that annoyed us as kids earlier. This was my biggest one:

"Why do I need to clean my room just because company is coming over?! It's not like they're gonna go in my room!"

My wife's pretty good about this type of stuff, but my gaming time is more limited to evenings after we go upstairs to get ready for bed.

She doesn't try and pull this stuff, but I also don't try and game all day or something anymore (like I used to when single).

I have it more now where she's pregnant, so doesn't have much energy and whatnot, so I have to do a lot more (making all meals, cleaning up, etc), so that eats into my time.

Room ? Please we had to make sure the ENTIRE apartment was spotless. Good thing I grew up in a one bedroom apartment so it didn't take too long.
