Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Also, when people stop at a red light, when they're in the right turn lane! And they don't turn until the light turns to green....Do they not even realize they can turn right at any time..... -

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Maybe USA is diff then Canada then, cause anyone can right turn regardless if the light is red or green(as long as they're in the right turn lane obviously)Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Yeah, I've moved around the US so much I forget where I am sometimes (in terms of what the "rules of the road" are) and am leery of turning on red, period. If I'm back in Wisconsin I'll do it because their intersections are clearly marked and I just... know Wisconsin driving. South Dakota was just... go go go. I didn't drive much in DC (I lived smack dab in the city and had no reason to take a vehicle out when the Metro was so awesome.) Out here in California though? If I'm within a few blocks of my apartment, it's cool... but I had to go to Santa Barbara for an appointment the other day and I'll be damned if I even thought about turning right at any red light. I think it was legal, I just had no idea and am not gonna risk anything with the idiots out here.badComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
When I went to Daytona, I was on the fence about turning on red at a few intersections. By the way, they have some of the coolest intersections on the main North and South Atlantic Avenue.
Every intersection is done with nice brick and painted some "beachy" color like sky blue.. really well done and taken care of. Man, I miss that place all ready. I just enjoyed the more chill vibe from everyone, opposed to party party party in Panama City Beach.
People there knew how to have a good time without acting like a fool too much.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Sports rant about the folks I work with.
People who talk and talk and talk and talk during football games.
It's mostly the guys I work with. Everyone knows everything and people are talking constantly during the games we watch.
I've been in a sports bar and this waitress sat down at our table when we were watching Auburn/Ole Miss and was like "You guys don't look like you're too happy".. lol.
That and I work with some smug *** Alabama fans who act like they don't care about Auburn's results. When you watch a game with them and It's Auburn, any time something positive happens they start trying to high five everyone and pretend to care in a smug ****ing tone.
I would rather them just run their mouth about my team instead of being a complete tool about the game. I don't say **** when I watch Alabama play.Comment

Reminds me of when I was in my favorite deli one day and the lady asked this woman what kind of cheese she wants on her sub, she said yellow.Comment

I get yellow cheese on my sandwiches and drink orange kool-aid.--
