Re: What is your biggest pet peeve?
Off topic, yet hilarious...I was at a double quick with the station engineer once...cashier told him "have a good one." He said, "I already have a good one, what I need is a bigger one"Comment

Re: What is your biggest pet peeve?
I used to be worried about this, I was with an ex who spoke Spanish at a fast food joint, and a couple employees were speaking Spanish in front of us. I asked, what did they just say??? (I was mad)...turns out the conversation was about who would wash dishes vs. take out the garbages.
I was at Disney World over Christmas break when I was in 8th grade and was nearing the end of my 2nd 9 weeks of Spanish I so I was listening for any Spanish speakers to see if I could understand anything. At one point we were leaving a restaurant and my little sister was holding the door and someone said something to her in Spanish though I hadn't heard it. When my mom and sister told me about it, I was able to correctly ID the word as "perdón", meaning pardon or excuse me, based on context.
I can't drive so I have to walk everywhere. Well, I don't like drivers because most people don't know how to drive

You guys are great. I was thinking more in terms of when people do it to me at work or in another sort of professional setting.

Re: What is your biggest pet peeve?
I'm taking driving lessons so the biggest pet peeves I have arewhen a person goes to turn while driving, and they don't turn on their blinker, and also people who walk slowly on the streets like they are tasting your impatience.
Another one is when I'm arguing with someone and when I'm leaving he insults me quietly and I ask him angrily "What did you say?" and he answers laugthing "Nothing".Comment

Well, I'm doing it. Walkers are horrible. There should be classes to learn how to walk."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: What is your biggest pet peeve?
This also bothers me as a walker.
When a car is driving down the street, I wait at the corner for said car to pass by. It's annoying (not like I'm gonna go ballistic over it, but still it is annoying) when that car suddenly makes a left or right turn and the driver never used the turn signal.
I'm the one walking and you just wasted my time because I thought you might hit me if I crossed.
I also live in New York so if I'm outside and going somewhere and I'm not moving forward then something is wrong."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Spiteful people; doing something just to deliberately annoy another human being for no good reason. I mean, why? Can you at least show a little class and dignity? There are people I don't like, but I have better things to do than to go out of my way to make their lives more difficult. It's just not worth it.New Jersey Devils- 1995, 2000, 2003

Re: What is your biggest pet peeve?
Wow I have had to make the 30-40 minute drive to Orange/Athol three times this week, of the 6 total trips back and forth only once did I encounter a flow of traffic not going 5-10 UNDER the speed limit. I despise when people go below the speed limit for no good reason (i.e. weather or road conditions), yes I know the limit is the limit but damn it you shouldn't decide everyone behind you gets to drive at a ******** pace just because that's how you roll.Comment
