It's only an hour from Mobile, AL, where it rains more than in any other city in the country.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Another thing about TV I don't like.....
During sports games when they show shots of a few people in the audience(not like a zoomed out audience show, but like a closeup for 3-4 people) and the camera just stays on them for an awkward 10-20 seconds. It happens MULTIPLE times a game.
I(as well as many people I'm sure) don't wanna see random people in the audience in close up shots on TV. I'm not watching a sports game to see awkward camera shots of people who don't know that they're even on camera(not doing anything funny, just sitting there watching the game or something) or when people do realize they're on camera, they just do abunch of stupid things(and some random person comes from like 3-4 rows down to run into the camera shot)
I hate it even more when it causes me to miss some of the game action because of that. Jays game today for example, first 3 pitches of an at bat were missed cause they were just showing audience shots.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
All these commercials, where they show you a scene from a currently popular movie or somehow try to combine the movie main character in the 'plot'.
I realize they're using it to so-called make themselves popular, but it never makes sense to me, I never understand what it's supposed to be - there's no logic.
I always end up thinking to myself: "What the hell was that?!".My Specs:

I'll try to fine one...don't even know how to look for it. But I can assure you that if you watch TV, at some point you'll see it.

The person that constantly post on Facebook how they have to "move on" and other relationship stuff including putting their status as "in a relationship" only to change it back to single 3 days later and then whine on Facebook that people don't mind their own business...Comment

Couldn't agree more with you...
Another one... When people think they are busier than everyone else... Have more kids, go to school, work, etc... Everyone is busy in their own way.
And... This occurred before we had a kid but when my wife and I tried taking days off from work, we were often questioned or denied because how dare us take time off. It seemed like we were a lower priority because we didn't have kids...

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
How Yelp filters out reviews. I have reviewed 20+ places, but not all of them show up on the business' review page. Yet someone who has only posted one review can call a place frauds and con men and it shows up while 4-5 other reviews get filtered and do not.
Or another business only has 2 reviews show up, but 10 others are filtered and do not show up.Comment
