If I'm not mistaken, claw machines have a set monetary amount that will allow the claw to hold onto the item when the amount is reached. For example, if the amount is set for every $10, and you put in the tenth dollar, you'll get the item.

There may be some exceptions to this though. I won two items back to back this summer on a machine at the beach.

My little nephew's football coaches only giving him two snaps the whole game after he had busted his *** off at practice and had a good solid week of practice too.

The ****ing score ticker on the bottom of CBS's broadcast being cut off on my TV.

I got a standard TV, but it's pretty big and I'm not dropping money to replace it if it isn't broken.

Yeah I noticed that today, too. Not sure why CBS doesn't do the letterbox format for SDTV broadcasts. I mean I know most stations are switching it up so they use the same feed for both HD&SD, but usually they do it like Fox, instead of cutting off a bunch of the screen just to fit... and they somehow make it too big even for that.

I'm with you partially. The modem/router that Verizon gave me for Fios was awesome. I very rarely had a problem. Now that I moved, I'm back to my cheap Cisco router again and it just disconnects randomly during the day for a minute or two.

Buy a nice router and you don't have a problem (well, you shouldn't, my modem acts up sometimes). I wish the D-Link router I had didn't die. It was close to $100 and was so nice, but it's hard justifying spending $100 on something that only lasted 1-2 years.

I had nothing but problems with my Belkin. Whenever I had a house phone, if someone would use the house phone/someone would call, the wireless wouldn't connect with my PS3.

Standard def is no longer standard, it is a dead format. That is why.

This is true but l3ulvl is indicative of a lot of people that aren't going to just chuck their TV because HDTV is the standard now. Luckily for me the NFL games that I want to watch are simulcast and they go letterboxed (yes I have an SDTV though it can easily be upconverted but don't know where to buy the parts) so it's not a huge deal but when I get a game that's on ABC only (NCAA FB) I do get this issue of a full screen and things getting cut off.

Right but with HDTV being so cheap now (You can get a nice 32 inch for like $300 or less) the huge upgrade in visual quality should be worth it to upgrade.
