Re: HD TV's
Just watch the ads for the next few months. Especially around the holidays.
I got my 32" Samsung for like $350 around Christmas time about 4 years ago. Great picture and still going strong.
For how many hours that thing has been on, it was a hell of a value for $350University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

When you're watching a funny movie/TV show with a group of people, and that one guy feels the need to repeat the funny line everyone just laughed at like 50 times throughout the movie.
Yeah dude, we all heard it. You don't need to repeat the line 3 seconds after the movie says it.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
With DirecTV it actually looks fine and Fios wasn't terrible, but it could have been better. You can tell it isn't HD, but it looks fine. I don't exactly have a 42" SDTV to compare it to, but it looks 1000x better than ****ty TWC. Now if only I could get Fios out here in the corn fields I'd be set with satellite TV and fiber internet.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Well yea, I mean don't get me wrong if I can have it, I want hd, there is a noticeable difference right off the bat that makes you feel all warm inside. But it's not as world altering as people make it out to be in my opinion. Besides TWC sucks *** anyway, sadly that's what I have now.
I don't want to insult you but I knew someone that had the same exact opinion, and by the time I actually had a chance to watch a game at his house once, I had to break the news to him: he wasn't watching HD.

What's worse is it seems like all of my teams love to torture me like that. I wish I could go back and slap the **** out of past me for getting attached to the teams I did.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.
