But yea, actually, ctrl A, ctrl C, alt+tab, ctrl V, =LOWER(A1), ctrl C, alt+tab, ctrl V is pretty fast. It furthers my case if he doesn't look at the screen when typing and instead looks at the keyboard.

He said in his post that he was a "couple of sentences in".

Definition of couple varies among people. I still say he's chicken pecking, because I mean really, the 10-15 seconds I'd have to retype seems pretty minor, and my method uses fewer keystrokes. No need to waste your life away spending more time than necessary!

This grinds my gears. I use "a couple" interchangeably with "a few." If I say give me a couple chips, I'm surely not asking just for two.

All depends on context. A couple of people is 2. A couple is French Fries is around 4 or 5.

But people tell me all the time I am wrong. So, OS, what say you? Is a couple 2, or is a couple 2, 3, or 4?

A couple is two. A few is 3-5. Several is 5 or more. A lot is too damn many.

Couple = 2, Few = 3, Several = 4+, then you move on to handful and other systems of measurement.

A few is a lot more debatable the a couple.

                  A couple is always two.
A few is at least 3.

When we argue, it feels like a few.

I figured this example would be used.

I consider it English changing because people changed it.

You said they were equal before...which I disagree with. Now you say they can be used interchangeably, which I will concede to the examples you stated.
