He has freedom of speech. It's the reason nobody is arresting him or persecuting him for what he said. Doesn't mean people don't also have the right to think he's a moron for saying it.

Not getting into it too much, because that hits on taboo topics here, but just from the reality tv show aspect he should have known better than to say that. Either that or he did it on purpose and they don't care if the show ends sooner rather than later.

Religion itself isn't about persecuting people either, even the new Pope has said stuff similar regarding sexuality. I think this is why people are in a uproar more than normal.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

Dumb IT staff and their dumb network administrators.

I'm an administrator for a small office. One of our clients is complaining they can not get files from our FTP.

So I test out their account and all works well. I come back to them asking to check their firewalls and they say it's fine and it's something on our end.

I test at home, works fine. I respond back to his email that it works at home and he needs to contact their IT staff, and he responds stating his IT staff thinks it's a security permission problem.

Really? Are you that dumb to realized that it worked for me on 3 different occasions on 3 different networks, and you still think it's something on our side? good grief.

Major, major gear-grinder: the men's locker room at the gym.

For a first time gym goer...this experience is beyond not cool.

And can't nobody tell me different.

My gym is only bad in the morning when people work out and decide to shower there before going to work (usually the older guys). So I just go at night now. Way less chance of running into the wrong lockerroom atmosphere lol.

Reason why I quit going to the gym....old man dong. Then at night, it's dominated by the idiots who are there to socialize more than workout. Probably why I just work out a bit at home now.

Hate this time of the year. One, I forget what its like to breathe clearly. Two, coming up on the anniversary of my grandparents' deaths from cancer. Kinda saps the joy out of Christmas.

I'd much rather them completely just knock out all the showers. I don't care if it breaks some sanitary code.

But damn man. I'm convinced some people are there just to take a shower and/or strip down.

The amount of man laws being broken is just unbelievable.

And they do it like it's nothing.

I can sit here and tell you the amount of thread in my shoelaces because every time I walk into a locker room...I just stare at my damn feet.

And finishing a grueling workout and I have to walk in a locker room and change my clothes while holding my breath. I've almost passed out trying to do it.

Yeah, maybe it's because I didn't grow up in the right era or play football or something, but I don't strip down in front of other guys. If it's still done at the MLB level or something, that's different I guess if I was playing up there... but in a community with students I teach or people who have taught me (shoot, or just friends who I don't show my junk to, which is everybody I know) who I could potentially run into, no thanks. No thanks.

Eh, I've been in the locker room situation before. It can be uncomfortable, but there are also a number of situations out there that would require you to have to be a part of it. There are worse things.

Please tell me what situation requires two grown men bucket naked standing in front of each other, eyes locked, holding a conversation?

                            I'll wait.

Boot camp and living on a boat where you share 3 showers, toilets and sinks with 30 other people. Ive seen stuff no man wants to see.

Well you didn't specify that before. Showering isn't that big a deal. Guess it's a matter of how comfortable you are.
