I'm with the judgers here. You can get a 32" HDTV for like $200. There really is no reason to still have a tube TV.

Yeah, sorry that you can't afford to feed your family three meals a day, but you need to upgrade that TV because it's just unacceptable.

Someone should've invested in some condoms.

No one should wear glasses anymore. There's laser eye surgery, get off your lazy asses and get it.

I agree. But this is coming from someone with perfect vision, 20/13 in one eye, 20/15 in the other.

I'm sorta abit of both. I really want to watch things in HD, but at the same time,I can still watch poor quality versions of stuff just fine(though usually it's because of reasons I don't believe I can mention on this site,so it's either watch in not perfect quality,or not watch at all)

                  1) Not everyone can afford it.

                  2) Due to me being extremely farsided, I am not a candidate for it.

How am I lazy due to those 2 reasons?

There's really no reason to stick a new TV in every room where they rarely get used. That extra grand I didn't needlessly spend is earning me 20% somewhere.

                    How's that for a reason?

It is nice. I think I've got 20/13, or whatever the second line under 20/20 is.

I was just pointing out how ridiculous it is to judge someone on having a TV whenever you have absolutely no idea what's going on in their life. The people that judge people on material things like that are usually the ones who never had to struggle for anything in their lives.

But this isn't the place for that.

Having difficulties finding HD porn huh?

Edit: I don't think it's against TOS to say you watch, just don't go into any details.

I still have a tube TV. Works well for the Wii so my nephew can watch cartoons on Netflix on it. If it's not broken, why get rid of it?

The only reason I keep a tube television or two is because of older movies and shows that are better viewed on older sets because they haven't been remastered or released in widescreen format. Not to mention when I want to bust out the original PlayStation.

What are old consoles like on current TVs? I always wanted to try my N64 on my TV, and I might do it one day if the weather gets warm enough for me to go and get it out of my garage(if it'd still work after being in like -30C temperatures(though it's in a box...)
