Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Ya, but there's only 1 other team in the league with less playoff appearances than Jays in past 20 seasons. WS wise, it's good cause only 10 other teams have won WS in that timespan since Jays last one, but it's the playoff stuff that sucks alot.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
It really annoys me when I go into Subway, and the woman behind the counter cuts my sandwich perfectly in half. Like, robotic precision. Amazing accuracy.
Yeah, that's impressive or whatever, but you probably got lucky and I always prefer one slightly bigger section (can't really call it a half if it's bigger) and one slightly smaller section. Then I can eat the smaller section first and use it like an undercard before the main event, because I know I've still got "the big 'un" to look forward to.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Being a loyal fan to a sports team that's not good for a LONG period of time.
Baseball is my fave sport to play, yet sucks how I can never watch playoff quality team for an entire season. I always start losing alot of interest by around July-August cause seasons basically over.
Yet despite that...February/March I'm always excited for season to start.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
If I ever work at a sub shop I'm gonna use a ruler and make sure both sides are cut perfectly even. These stories crack me up.
I have weird idiosyncrasies when I eat, too, but this is the first I've heard of the sub one. Nice.badComment

Now that's a classic, you should asked her to cut it again so you would have a smaller one. Usually I just eat the one on the right simply because I'm right handed and grab for that one first.Texas A&M Aggies

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
When sports games shows the crowd(usually first few rows) during the action and you see people with real good seats not even paying attention to the game(they're just on their phone).
It annoys me more than anything, those people probably got those tickets for free and aren't even fans of the sport either!
A NHL game I was watching for example, the period was over so players were heading to the locker room. While everyone around that section was trying to high five the players as they walked by, there was this one person who wasn't even paying attention, they were just looking down at their phone the entire time as if they didn't even know they were at a hockey game sitting in $200 seats and the players from the team they're supposedly supporting are like 2 feet away from them.
NBA is same way. Sometimes after a big dunk, they'd show the benchs reaction to the dunk. There's times where I've seen that happen, and right behind the bench are just people on their phones and stuff.....you have the best seat in the house,a HUGE play just happened, and you probably didn't even know what just happened/couldn't care less.Comment
