Are you talking about after you have all ready given someone money for the purchase and they punched it into the computer and started the transaction/printed the receipt? If so, I would give you a deer in the headlights look too. I used to hate mother****ers who did that when I was a cashier. It didn't have anything to do with knowing how to add or subtract, but the amount I give back matching what the receipt says.

Also, why not give the change right away ? Either give it up front or take the change you deserve.

It may be funny to you, but it can be quite annoying. Old people are the worst about it.

Just trying to give some perspective from a former cashier. That was my entry position when I first started working at Home Depot. You may not be the guy I'm talking about in my post.

It ruined the way I usually browsed them. I'm probably going to download the .apk for the previous version if I can find it until they release another update because it's horrific.

You know what really grinds my gears?

Getting a sound bar and not being able to hook it up to your tv because your 1 year old Samsung LED has no audio out options

Edit: I realized I can plug it individually into the coco or set top. So I can use it. Just annoying I can't go right into the TV

You sure there is no optical out? That's what mine has (Plasma .. over a year old)
Of course I have no idea if optical out would work for you...

No there definitely isn't I checked all over and looked up reviews online of the TV and that was the main complaint. There are 0 audio out ports

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

I fired my Galaxy up last night to make sure it was working properly.

I never use it here in Japan and for most of the 9 months I've been here, It's just sitting on a shelf inside of a Lifeproof case.

I turned it on and charged it. Took it off the charger and sat it on my desk and came back to it later and the screen had a purple tint. Then this morning it had a blue tint to it. Now the screen is completely black and unresponsive.

Tried multiple online tricks and nothing. So I guess I'm traveling home without a US phone now. I need it to get in touch with people back home because my parents just moved into a new house and I'm staying with them.. they don't have their internet set up yet.

I'm sure I can get a new phone because my Galaxy is more than two years old, but I don't want to burn an upgrade on a phone and come right back to Japan where it's useless.

Aggravating to say the least. Phone has never even been dropped..

Being sound asleep at 2-2:30am and hearing a thundering knock at your front door, only to find no one at it or around your house. Ding Dong Ditch or whatever I can live with as a stupid kids prank, but too many home invasions or other serious **** going on right now.

Are you certain there was really a knock? Not trying to be funny, I have "exploding head syndrome" which is a real thing despite the stupid name. It usually happens when I'm asleep or on the cusp of crashing/waking up.

Exploding head syndrome is a real condition, and researchers are finally beginning to address this rare and little-understood sleep disorder as an illness worthy of medical investigation.

Interesting read, but yeah, others in the house heard the same knock. Main reason I got up was rest of family heard it as well.

I hate getting "emotionally attached" to things. Especially when Im not even an emotional person at all. Long term, nothing bad, but its just the short term that messes with things. Mostly just during "downtime" around the time after stuff happens if that makes sense at all.

Sucks talking with people I prob wont see again for years if ever again, cause I get to know them and all,but even with email/facebook and stuff(which hasnt been too helpful unfortunately) its not the same keeping in touch with people like that. Just hope this time is diff, cause I always want to keep in touch with specific people, but haven't had best of luck/timing in being able to stay in touch.

2nd part basically connects with 1st part. Having bad feeling right now realizing I wont get to see certain people again for quite some time. Strange though since I've met them only days ago and I feel this strong about not getting to see/hang out with them again like this
