You know what really grinds my gears?

Effin' tapatalk. This is the main reason why my posting has tailed off recently.

Why mess up a good thing?

I seem to see this more and more. Might have mentioned it in here before. People who put the dollar sign after the numbers. "I have 10$ to spend."

When people on here who post the same question 10 or more times in the same thread. I saw a ton yesterday in the MLB 15 Fact Sheet thread. I think there were like 8 people who asked whether advanced stat tracking made it into the game or is create a stadium in this year and has the frame rate been upgraded to 60 FPS this year? I think I saw each of these at least 5 or 6 times. It's like seriously use the search this thread function, it's there for a reason.

A take on that, when you're browsing a forum, say for a game on Steam and someone has a question/issue you have. The person figures it out or gets an answer(not posted in the thread) and simply goes "Oh, fixed it" or "oh, was told what to do". Put it in the thread for others if there is no other solution about it.

The morons around here that think just because there is several inches of snow on the ground, that instantly means stop signs don't mean stop. Already seen 3 people just fly through it on my street. Instead of driving 35 in a 25 like you always do, why not try, I don't know, slowing down?

                    I got another one.

But last year when there was TWO INCHES of snow on the ground in Georgia and they almost declared a state of emergency. The snowstorm where Chipper Jones went out on ATV and rescued former teammate Freddie Freeman. But last week in the New England region there was upwards of THREE FEET of snow on the ground. And besides most places closing it was just another in the neighborhood.

At least places by you actually close down. Around here, unless it's impossible to even drive on a road or something, they'll never shut stuff down. They just use that stupid "travel with caution" line instead.

I remember all those years of school ,never once having a snow day! Wake up,hear the news and see so many schools cancelled, school busses cancelled and all that, but mines would never be closed, and they just tell people to be careful and leave earlier to get there on time! Many people obviously just stayed home, and sometimes if teachers knew before hand it was gonna be a real horrible weather day, they'd indirectly tell students to stay home(they'd be like "I'm not allowed to tell you to stay home, but if the weather is as bad as they say it is,then you won't be missing anything if you aren't able to come")

Yep I had that same issue in my hometown. We got like 5 "free" snow days,
meaning if we had 6 snow days we to school a day longer than originally scheduled.

Don't schools stay open intentionally for some sort of special reason? I know back in high school, my school would intentionally open up some days, but it'd just be a mandatory optional half day type of thing. So they can report that the school was opened for those days, but it was only really a half day or even shorter(like the final day before christmas holidays,or final day of the semester after exams and so on)
