UPS claiming they delivered a package on my porch. There is no package on the porch.

Edit: Neighbor had it. How does one confuse 7012 for 7005?

Once when I was still living at my mom's house (30 West Francis) I got a package from Amazon that I'd been expecting, but there was also a second package also from Amazon and in a box of the exact same dimensions that was addressed to 46 West Francis.

This happened to me on Wednesday. Ordered something from Amazon on Monday and was supposed to get it Wednesday with Prime 2-day shipping. Tracking showed my package as being delivered at 12:35pm. Nothing ever came. Had to call Amazon who then called UPS and still no explanation. Amazon sent me another one and I got it today.

Guess somebody was following the UPS driver around and stole my package after he dropped it. Who knows.

Our delivery people I think aren't very good. I've had the mailman put my mail (and deliver a package before) to 7015 instead of 7005. Watched him put it on their porch and it was obviously mine because who orders 10 small flat rate boxes? They put it on my doorstep later that day.

I've gotten my next door neighbor's mail (7009) here and there. I know they delivered my Menard's rebate check to someone else. Who, I don't know. And they probably used it because it never showed up. It was only a few dollars, but sure makes me want to return mail after other people use mine.

Is Amazon's customer service normally that good? Given the circumstance, I think that's really outstanding as normally it'd take forever to not only prove you didn't get the package but also have to do all the calling and explaining yourself (basically be the liaison).

I think it's something where if you haven't abused it and the delivery notice just says "left on porch" or whatever, they'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I want to say I've had to do it once. Especially if you are Prime, they give you great customer service. Not sure what happens if you don't have it.

When your opponent in your fantasy baseball league championship makes 24 moves in 1 week with the sole purpose of maximizing his stats. Straight up cheese as far as I'm concerned and probably just cost me a championship. I mean what else do you call making 24 moves in one week. All but 2 of the other 11 guys in my league didn't make 24 moves ALL SEASON while he had 81 total.

Yeah we had a heated debate about it in one of my basketball leagues awhile back. We made a limit the next year. Make sure all your moves are worth it.

I'd call it smart fantasy roster management. Blame the league for not restrictions in place to prevent such a thing from happening.

Well there were 2 owners who weren't active since February and April respectively. One stopped doing anything in mid-August so that lowers the total moves but yeah, I definitely felt ****ty doing it.

I tried to make up in-week matchup deficits and maneuver without dropping Carrasco, Strasburg, and Jose Fernandez though. The first two not being placed on the freakin' DL and taking up spots because they'd be kept by someone else if I dropped them and obviously because the last one died and I felt even more wrong if I dropped him. I had to make up starts for basically my three best pitchers. I had to get those quality starts somehow. Thought I could make up holds but it didn't work out. I only chased steals for today because it was the only other category I thought I could make up. Don't really feel guilty about that aspect especially because, out of the guys I tried to pick up today for steals, the only person who got me a steal was a guy I've had for months in Villar. And your Segura was caught stealing.

Next year we have to put a moves limit, have the championship second-to-last week of the season, and a couple other transaction details like not being able to make a transaction until after 12am because "the player played that day" even if they're on your bench.

Kick my *** next year and we'll call it even.
