That's another gear grinder, parents thinking they're clever with the spelling on kids names. Like Steffiny and Cristofer. Like, just stick with the basics. Or just go way outside the box and name your kid Nintendo.

Also, parents talking about every little thing their kids do as if it's so amazing, like no other kid is like that.

That was one classic George Carlin bit on names

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

After watching Survivor for decades, and knowing people who are teachers, I've learned that some people honestly just dont know how to spell.

On Survivor, sure it might be easy to criticize since we see how their names are all spelt, but when everyone had to write down names, we see how bad some are at spelling. Some might be joke spellings, but for most part the botched names are legit.

And some parents honestly dont know how to spell names. Extreme circumstances, but I've heard some kids names were just spelt with random letters, but they were regularly pronounced names. So these spellings might be cheap attempts at being clever sometimes, but others it's simply just bad spelling by parents.

It's only a matter of time until names start getting spelled with combinations of letters that appear like other letters when smushed together. For example, l3 looks like B, and lvl looks like M

I think that's a bigger revelation than when we found out that ICT stood for Ice Cream Truck.

Of course, when he changed his username to exactly that it became plainly obvious.
