I feel so sorry for all those people. All the way the hell out here in Long Beach I can barely breathe when I go outside. Must be unbearable just a little ways north.

My mom is supposed to fly out to California tomorrow for some Business meetings. Her lame *** bosses are still saying she needs to go, even though fires are spreading everywhere with no sign of stopping.

So gay. Hopefully she convinces them otherwise.

She wouldn't have anything to worry about then, the only bad thing here is the Santa Ana winds pushing the smoke close to us, so it sucks going outside.

Out of curiosity, what does your mom do for work? I wonder what type of business meeting she'd be at here.

Are you near UCI?? Thats where im at and we should be pretty safe over here. Its pretty much all east near the end of culver..Its strange we are like blocked in with fires north, south and east of us.

I'm pretty close to you. I live in Woodbridge so we should be fine over here. Its smoky outside but we won't be in any real danger.

This is a very bad situation. I pray that all of our fellow OS members, as well as residents of Southern Cal, stay safe and have their property and belongings spared.

The midwest was having problems with this not too lond ago. The only good thing is there is a lot of nothing to burn up here. I can only imagine what it would be like in the San Diego area.

im in la jolla and just came down on sunday for school (ucsd) and the winds and fire were out of control on the 15. thinking about driving up back to la as it seems the winds wont stop.
