This is crazy, ash everywhere...air quality horrible...from what I hear the air quality is only going to get worse

I'm glad I live near downtown (one of the few times)

Yeaaah it's definitely not healthy to be out there breathing that air. I really feel for those people.

I'm at SDSU and I can see one of the fires (or control burns) right over the hills, to the East. This is insane!

That's a satellite image of the smoke in the region...

I see the same thing. I'm on the 11th floor in my dorm. That's the current resulting image of what I took earlier.

Terrible. Isn't it midterms week for you college guys? I couldn't concentrate with fires approaching like that.

So far so good in Carlsbad. As long as wind conditions don't shift too drastically or we don't get any new fires, we may be ok.

I was supposed to have one this Friday; don't think that will happen anymore.

Haven't gotten out of bed yet. Can't tell you what it looked like here.

God I hope California doesn't have homeowner insurance policies that don't cover these fires.

are you in chapultepec? I'm in University Towers.

I saw three different fires around us last night

Yeah, I'm in Chappy. You should have come here instead of UT haha.

I looked out the window earlier and I noticed that the Harris fire is still going well, but you can't tell because the smoke is completely covering the mountain. Hopefully I can take a picture later.

Well, looks like school is closed down for the whole week for us. I mean I guess that's cool and all, but we still may have to evacuate.

Chappy does look nice, but I like having a shared bathroom in the room connected to the next room.

so since school is closed, I think I'm gonna head back to my hometown. Are you from SD?

                                Nah, Bay Area (San Mateo).

I'm still not sure what I'll do only because baseball tryouts are supposed to be this Saturday. They haven't informed us whether or not they'll still happen. Just waiting on the word.

I have friends here at Mission Beach where I can stay, but I don't know how bad it is there. Does anybody know?
