I recorded a tackle on AD when we scrimmaged Palestine his junior season.

I've also played several times with one of my bro's friends, Omar Thomas, who is JUCO basketball's all-time leading scorer. Once scored 77 in a game without making a 3. He played at UTEP and currently averages 20 PPG in an Italian league. He's too short to play his natural position(forward) in the NBA.

No one super famous. Played one on one with Kevin Houston who, for those who don't know (lol), led the nation in scoring while at Army 86-87. I was 9. (Dad was a grad assistant at Army.)

Played against Joel Pryzbilla at a basketball camp when he was a freshman, he was huge. He'd walk down the dorm hall and you'd look out your door and all you'd see is a body - no head. He had a couple dunks on us, that was the only game we lost.

Also played against Chris Chambers at a basketball camp.

I played against a bunch of guys that made it to the minor leagues but most of them only lasted a year.

Coached against Chad Billingsley, pitcher for the Dodgers.

I've been fortunate enough to play basketball against quite a few pro's in my life, most before they were pro's though obviously. Some others were damn good college ballers. Most of the college guys I played against in AAU, most of the bigger name guys I played against in the Hartford Pro/Am Summer League. I was also invited to Five-Star's end of the summer All-Star camp in PA my junior year in HS where I played against a ton guys. That was one the best basketball experiences of my life, seeing all the major college coaches and all of the top East Coast recruits at one camp.

My memory has faded a bit over the years, but here's who I remember...

Played against Odom when he was in HS... kid was a beast even back then.

Play pickup ball with Doug Flutie most summers in Delaware.... he loves to go there to this one court off the beach.

My brush with greatness came about 7 years at my health club in Chicago. Since it's a very nice club with a great basketball court Tim Grover used work out his clients at my club on occasion before he had Hoops on the west side.

I was lucky enough and honored to have run the hardwood with MJ, Scotty, AJ Bramlett, Sergio McLain, and Marcus Liberty.

Of course not all at the same time and it wasn't just a one off either. They were there a lot.

Additionally, since the NBA pre draft workouts were held at Moody Bible, they would occasionally bring someone to the gym to workout in front of all the GM's. I happened to be there when Bargnani from Toronto was there when he was 18. Ainge, McHale, Jerry West, and Krause were the people I recognized. Not sure why Krause was there though.

Quite a few but believe it or not, the most impressive was Carlos Arroyo. He was in the zone and just absolutely went off.

I was rated better than Alex Boston! You know, the DE from Florida State. This was baseball though. I'm #8, he's #9 on this list.

Justin Upton was on my team and he was just a freshman.

Watching Boston play was amazing. He was gigantic and a great athlete.

Goodness that is a terrible pic of me if you click on my name. And goodness they said I could carry more weight? I have a phobia of gaining weight, and fat people.

That is cool, at least you can say you were ranked. Those list are funny, because most of the time the player doesn't do to well. Are you still playing? I remember when Brian Williams was the talk of the town, he was drafted by the yanks in 91. My friend Chris was the other HS pitcher drafted in that year. I think it was the third or second round. His numbers were just as good as Williams.
