Re: Working At A Pizza Place
So what do you do if someone takes the pizza and just walks away, or shuts the door? I'm curious.
Might try that.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

And yes, I'm enjoying it alot. I enjoy not being stuck in the same place the whole time. My managers are really cool as well.
Sucks today that there's a bunch of rain, which I hate driving in but hopefully that means better tips.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

I mean we do have the address and telephone number. It's not like you'd get away with it.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Re: Working At A Pizza Place
But I was thinking more about when we order pizza at school in the dorms, use cell phones, and just give the dorm, and meet the guy outside, so they don't know exactly who it is.
But yea, if it's from your house I'm sure it's easy to deal with.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: Working At A Pizza Place
I thought about it, but I figured I'd let someone else instead.
Good to hear your enjoying it. Definitely makes work go quicker and easy to get out of bed for when you enjoy it.
I hated driving in the rain as well. Worst part for me was driving at night and in the rain, but people tend to tip more in the rain, so it's not all terrible.
We always rang the doorbell again and asked for the money. If they didn't answer we'd just call a manager who would call the house. If they tried to pull some BS on us, we'd threaten to call the cops. Amazing what a little threat like that can do.Comment

Weird, 'cause I've never once gotten the pizza before giving them the money.Comment
