I also don't know if you'd consider me one of those people, but we're not rich. I live with my mom, and she got me a majority of that stuff. Other than my birthday, she really doesn't buy me a lot as far as actual items are concerned, mostly just gives me money when I go somewhere with my friends. I got way more than I expected to, the XM and stereo dock for my iPod came out of nowhere. I knew I was getting a new phone, Guitar Hero, and the shirts, but not the other stuff. She gave me like $125 on top of that too...I'm very grateful, as a good amount of kids living with single parents don't get near as much. I feel bad that I only spent $20 for her present.

I guessed rock band and it was. Couldn't really hide the big box too well. Awesome game, have been playing it all day.

A cool gift my brother got was a "das boot!" glass boot mug. Really cool, I have to throw some down this weekend with it.

I would never find time to play all those games. I can't decide which one to play even when I get 2 at the same time.

Mom went all out this christmas, and well, like some others, we got it and I guess we flaunt it? But not really haha, our family is very well to do however (I won't say how much).

Got lots of clothes, including the only thing I asked for which was a Syracuse basketball jersey. Entourage DVDs, The Simpsons Movie, two sports books, lot of junk and such. Actually didn't get anything video game related, I was going to ask for CoD4 but it was too late and I wanted to keep my focus on CH2k8 (love that game). No other games really interested me. Bout 600$ in cash from my parents and relatives.

I never get anything for Christmas anymore (don't care anymore it's about the kids in the family) but this is me and my girlfriends first Christmas together.

She took my daughter to buy me a gift and my little one got me a webkins Frog and a candle (she picked it all by herself, makes it so much better)

My girlfriend got me a real nice black Baylor hoodie with the Baylor across the front in green and outlined in yellow.

Some frames with pictures of her, her and I and one that she took at the zoo, it's a view of our backs, with me holding my daughters hand and looking down at her as we walk, it's in black and white and I love it.
In my stocking from her she got me some socks, undershirts, underwear (I needed them all) some sweets etc that I like.

Like someone else said though, the best gift was seeing my daughter enjoyment on Christmas morning. She has been sick, but it didn't matter come Christmas morning.

Every year seeing how excitied she is, that's the best gift.

The best part about Christmas was watching my daughter see her cottage that we got her. She played in that thing all day. She only opened 1 other present because we couldn't get her out of it. She played with that thing until 9pm until she passed out. So I think we are having another Christmas tonight so she can open her other 3 or 4 gifts.

New printer, some gift cards, a Browns sweatshirt, COD4 and NHL 2k8.

The big surprise was Rock Band. My wife mentioned to my mother-in-law that I might like Guitar Hero. She didn't really have a real good idea of what she was looking for and when she went to Circuit City, they told her to get Rock Band instead, even though they were out. She checked at the front desk and someone had just returned one (unopened).
When I unwrapped the box, I figured it was the printer I asked for. My mouth was wide open when I saw Rock Band. We set it up and the whole family played it. My wife said it was dorky, but she had fun playing. At the end of a song, my father-in-law jammed on the guitar which gave us all a good laugh. We're excited about having it for another family Christmas party this weekend and at our New Year's Eve party.

I got an HDTV as a birthday / Christmas gift in November


It is just me and my dad. I got my dad some sheets he wanted for his bed. Sanford and Son seasons 1-6. I am taking him out for a prime rib dinner this weekend. I am also paying to have our pictures taken together at some studio.

Being single I can pretty much buy what I want throughout the year so I am grateful for anything my dad gets me. I always tell him he doesn't have to get me anything but he still does.

All and all a good Christmas. It is back to reality today as I have to work.
