Yeah, I was in the liquor store yesterday buying a bottle of Laphroaig for a buddy who gave me a new pair of Atomic skis and bindings. I saw a bottle of Blue and gasped when I saw a price tag of $179.

No way I'm paying that much for blended scotch. I wouldn't pay that much for single malt, especially when I can be in heaven for $50 or less with a bottle of Laphroaig, Macallan or Glenlivet.

Not sure of the particular brand you had mjb, but maybe This site can shed some light for ya.

If your daring mjb, might i suggest Dogfish Head World Wide Stout 2001/2003-Present (18%)

&...whatta ya know it's available @ Fat Head’s Saloon ...they might even have your boddingtons there...i dunno

I had it for the first time when I was up in Ottawa last year. It's a great beer.

I would never order it at a bar or anything, but if I'm buying a bottle of something to have for myself on a weekend, SoCo is a pretty good choice, in my opinion.

                  It's whiskey.

I don't know what females you hang out with that drink straight whiskey but I'd start giving cautionary package checks from time to time just to be sure.

Oh I see, so you're "closeted" about your "preference". Hey I'm not to judge, "not that anythings wrong with it". lol

Still working on them Yuenglings. Got enough left for next the playoff games coming up. It's a lighter beer than I thought it would be. But I'm still on my quest to find that beer nirvana.

Nah, it's all I drank at school last year and this summer, so plenty of people know about it.

I didn't even have to put in an order by the second semester last year when people were going on package runs. I'd just hand them a twenty and they'd come back with a bottle of SoCo for me.

If I go to a bar (I know, I know, I'm only 19 but Providence has very loose security at their bars and a fake ID works wonders) I'm ordering a Jack and Coke 24/7. Or some beer.

Whiskey that tastes nothing like whiskey. Fruity, candyish tasting booze should not be called whiskey. What other whiskey are you mixing canberry, lime, Sprite, etc with? Jack? Maker's?

I also never said girls drink it straight, but I know tons of girls who drank Soco and Lime in college.

Geez, guess you're an offended Soco drinker.
