    Basketball

To dream that you are playing basketball, indicates that you will need the cooperation and assistance of others in order to achieve your goals. Perhaps you are standing in the way of your own progress and need to ask for help.
To see a basketball in your dream, suggests that you need to make the first move. You also need to concentrate and be more focused in your goals.

    hmmmmm......

I usually dream that i'm the head coach of the Buffalo Bills. I don't know why I want to take on that headache but such is the weirdness of my dreams.

As a kid I would dream every once in a while, I(and others with me) would be chased by a pack of wolves. Always in the same location and I would always run inside just before they got us. I talked to one of my friends about it before and both her and her sister had the same dream, so I think someone told us a story or we saw a movie. We all basically had the same dream though and we had never talked about it before.

            it's completely dark.
all the sudden a spot light turns on and someone comes up to me (its been my old coach, my best friend, a little sister from bioshock and my ex- girlfirend)

and says "you need to score" or something like that....

all the sudden the shot clock turns on and I have to find the ball and score before time runs out or I die.....I can never even find the ball!!!!

            this is driving me nuts....

Reoccurring dreams are my long time nightmare.

I am serious about all this and am about to go deep into this. Mainly because I have actually spoke to counselors and therapists about this.

I did not read one single post after the initial one (yours). Because I did not want to cloud my answer in this subject.

Not sure if you know what night terrors are....

I get them a few times a year, and here is the kicker (no effen way I am joking here)...It is the same demon/guy that has been after me for a few years now.

I'm sure someone is going to read this and call BS, but I only wish they could go through the hell that comes back and again time to time to me.

I have (for the last 14 years or so, ever since returning from desert shield) had this demon that plagues me when I sleep.

It only happens a day or two every year or so. But he continues to keep within my time line, very aware of where we are and what year it is.

No Joke. This thing wakes me up and makes me convulse sometimes, I know I have awaken, yet I can not shake him when he terrorizes me. He talks to me in a semi awake state. I freak out and try to become fully awake, but I often fall back asleep and here he comes after me again.

Not in some dream world, but in my bedroom. Yelling, screeching, in my room. Always shrugging my shoulders violently, trying to wake me?

I have had this man / demon chasing me reoccurring in my dreams since about 94 or so.

I have seen many people about this, but he has yet to stop torturing me from time to time. I know a lot of peeps here are gonna say BS about this.

But I swear everything I typed is true and dead serious.

I have this one dream where I am on the deck of the Titanic, its night time, then my uncle shows up and throws me over the edge. As I am falling towards the water i see sharks waiting for me. I always wake up before I hit the water.

It could be something to do with you being shot. I kept having a dream about my brother being alive. At the end of the dream I had to be the one to tell him he was dead. I have that dream a lot. Also, I know when I am dreaming in my dreams. It is kinda weird when you have the dream of getting a ticket and you know it is a dream, so you do something funny or stupid to the cop. lol

I thought a few may want to check out this page. Its a tiny bit of info, but its something.
I've heard of that stuff before. Interesting. I tend to have lucid dreams. I dream the most, especially lucid ones, when I come home at lunch and take a half-hour nap. Really weird.

I've had recurring dreams in the past. There have been times when I've tried writing down as much as possible right when I wake up and then analyze it the next day. There's some messed up stuff I've written down, along with gibberish. But, after analyzing it and thinking about what was going on in my life at the time, some of it made sense.

I'll never forget the one dream I had several times when I was a kid where I was trying to escape my cousin's house with the 3 Stooges (yes, the comedians). There was this funny actor, who once played a podiatrist on an episode of Night Court, that was chasing us and trying to kill us. I remember waking up once I had gotten a few blocks away and walked into a Sunoco. I never did figure out what it all meant.

I use to have dreams of cutting wood and making arrows and then I figured out the problem, I was playing way to much Ultima Online so I cut back and then I started having dreams about how much gold I'm missing out on.

Don't sweat it 24th. Dreams usually don't mean much but a multitude of business, lots going on, or alot on your mind (if you didn't eat too late).

You likely do have alot in the back of your mind. Some quiet time during the day would help you out a great deal.

This is corny but in high school I had the biggest crush on this girl in my class. We flirted a bit but never actually got together and I really wanted to but never acted. Mainly because one of my friends liked her too.

Anyways, senior prom comes and she asks me but I was already going with a girl and my friend would be devastated if I got with this chick, so I couldn't go with her.

Ever since then I will have a dream about her and me at prom together and in just a really happy mood. It isn't very detailed and really mushy to be quite honest, but I enjoy it. :P

I used to have this recurring dream but I haven't had it in a while.

I'd be playing basketball, sometimes it was high school, sometimes college and even the pros but it was always the same thing. I would get in the game and my arms would be inside my jersey.

No matter what I tried i couldn't get them out. I would never finish the game in the dream but most times it would be near the end.

I haven't had the dream in a while but I have had basektball dreams since and my arms are outside my jersey now and I can actually play.

Other than that I seem to remember my dreams less and less as I get older.
