So its that time of the year...TAX TIME!!!! Yayyyy.

I was just curious who you guys used to do your taxes? Do you do them yourself online or do you "have a guy" or what and where!?

I'm not sure where I'm doing mine this year, I thought about going to an actual person but I'm not sure if I want to spend the time doing that...

I use Turbo Tax online. Neither my other half nor myself have gotten our W-2's yet, not sure whats taking so long to get them out. Maybe this year Im anticipating it more but it seems like we got them earlier last year.

I use Turbo Tax. I know last year we owed almost 4k and this year might be worse. My wife made about $20k more this year. And we both claim "M-0". I'll be turning my in at the last minute.

I go to a lady who specializes in law enforcement officers. I think I paid her $175 last year. Of course I got $4200 back so it's all good.

I use turbotax. I usually just buy it(I get reimbursed by my company because I work in different states) and have my mom do it though as she does them for my grandparents and other old family members.

If you get your W2, refunds may be delayed because of the tax code. Last year I ended up owning about $100 in Georgia and I waited to pay them until the last week, but they ended up not cashing the check until 2+ months later. They ended up getting in trouble because they also held peoples refunds.

I bought a house last year...so that helped me. But this lady got a ton back though from all of us that went there...even those that didn't buy a house.

How much do places like H&R Block cost? Is it a percentage or a flat rate?
