Another school shooting, this time at Northern Illinois University.

This is terrible but it does not sound as bad as other shootings. Hopefully reports remain this way.

Reports are that the gunman was shot and killed by police.

Here we go again......crazy kids gone wild part 2. Gunman opens fire in a lecture hall and ends up killing himself......pointless!
The student who is talking on CNN right now said when he heard about the Virginia Tech shooting he said screw this I'm going to NIU because I'll be safe there.
Looks like nowhere is safe.
EDIT: The hospital just said there are lots of kids with shots to the head, at least 5 are at her hospital.

No, no, no.....I heard 3 people were shot including the gunman. 18 are injured. Mostly minor injuries from broken glass.

Its bad, but not as bad as it could have been.

Supposedly the guy was using a shotgun, so if there are alot of kids injured, hopefully none of them were too close to the blasts and they are relatively minor injuries.

I don't think any of the news reports know for sure. I've heard 18 were shot, I've heard 2 were shot and the rest were injured. We're going to have to wait to really find out, as everything is still a mess.

This is why students need to be allowed to posses firearms on campus. They could have fired back and killed the murderer before he shot all those people.
