We're going to be sitting him down AGAIN and try to convince heim it's time to enjoy life, travel etc. He's finacially set for retirement so it's not that he can't do it.

My great grandfather died when he was ran over by a tractor on his Virginia farm. He suffered from internal bleeding for 7 day before finally passing away. This was years and years ago, before I was born, but I hear about it from my relatives.

Glad to hear your granddad does not have internal bleeding, because that could be bad.

Could of been much worse...........Broken ribs are extremely painful. I broke 2 and it was awful. I can't imagine breaking 7.

Sorry to hear about your dad Sky'. The same exact thing happened to my Uncle a few years back. Same injuries and all. It kept him down for a bit, but he fully recovered eventually. I'll definately keep him in my prayers bro..

Yesterday morning my dad had an accident at our farm and was run over by a tractor. He has a dislocated shoulder and 7 broken ribs. So far all tests for internal bleeding have been negative. We left the hospital around 9:30 pm last night and he was resting as comfortably as he could. He was in good spirits. It was a scary night as I've already lost my mom and I'm no where near ready to lose my dad. Of course I'll never be ready...

Just got back from hospital. The second tests today still showed no signs of internal beeding. So all looks good right now
He's in good spirits and is doing the best he can under the circumstances. He just has to do the breathing thing to make sure no fluids are in the lungs. He's joking around and stuff which is cool. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts. It means a lot.

Sounds like some solid improvement! Hopefully everything comes along well. Hope the road to recovery is a smooth one! If anything, sometimes it is some of the scariest moments in life that make us realize what we have.
