I usually shave like every other day, but I hate doing it. I really should shave everyday, but I'd literally go insane if I had to do that.

I use the mach four or eleven, whatever they have out now. The one that vibrates and has a bunch o' blades in it. I feel like a werewolf everytime I pull the damn thing out. I'm really thinking about trying the shower thing, so I'll have to get one of those mirrors next time i'm at the store.

I have the feeling if I was a girl I'd never get laid cause i'd have the hairiest.... stuff... in the world. Soooooo lazy.

what are some good electric razors that you guys use?, I have the same problem when shaving..Neck gets irradiated when i use manual razors. I have tried the shaving in the shower, water water. anything else??

I guess I owe some thanks to my dad. When I was in high school and had to start shaving for work..I noticed he never used shaving cream. He said he didn't because when my mother and father were first married...they were poor and kept a tight budget (no shaving cream). So, I still don't use shaving cream, and it doesn't bother me one bit. I am kind of lucky that way. And I haven't shaved for about a month....I just don't care anymore.

I use Gillette Fusion. I shave every other day, usually, but sometimes I don't and I end up with a little beard, haha.

They sell fog-proof ones.

Or just take some shampoo and smear it all over the mirror and then rinse it. It's poor man's anti-fog.

This really is the best advice. I used to have huge problems with my skin getting irritated from shaving, since I started shaving in the shower it has completely eliminated any skin problems that I used to get.

Cool. One other bonus: Your blades last much, much longer because your beard is so soft from the heat and steam. The blades just glide right through your beard with much less friction, increasing blade life dramatically.

for people that have sensitive skin and get razor burn or irritation, I would suggest using apricot face scrub. It works a ton better than any "anti-razor burn" stuff on the market and it also helps clean you face.

I have to use both an electric and a manual to get a proper shave, like if I'm going to a wedding or an interview. If I'm lazy, I can just use a manual but it's never as good of a job. I don't shave regularly and often let my beard grow because I hate shaving that much. My routine is I do it right after I get out of the shower. I use a mach 3 turbo to get all the long hair out the way, then a cool skin electric to get everything else out the way, then back to the mach 3 to clean up. It takes a while but it's the only way I can shave the way I want it.

I am telling all you guys, use an electric trimmer to shave. You will never have any skin issues.

I use a Mach3 and shave in the shower w. hot water. Then after I get out I put freezing cold water on my face/neck. When I was in HS our health teacher told us that it would really close up your pores and limit razor burn. It's worked like a charm for me.

Aftershaves, blah, I was never a fan.

If I use an electric trimmer, I will still have a beard.

No you use the sideburn trimmer to shave your entire face down to a minimum level of stubble.

I didn't know they sold fog proof ones. They are not too expensive either, saw some online between $15 and $20 bucks. I might get one and put it in the shower. I keep facial hair so I can't just go shaving in the shower blind. But I did shave parts of my facial hair the other day and it felt good.
