I'm beginning to wonder if I'm going to regret not upgrading from a Gameboy Advance to a DS or PSP before our trip to Europe. With nearly 10-hour flights back and forth, plus 4 6-hour train trips while in Europe, that's a lot of time to kill.

My grandmother is coming to live with us for a week. Part of me feels bad because I am afraid of this and want to get out of here as much as possible. But I mean she does nothing, she just does crosswords all day, and has caused a lot of problems in our family that really were not a big deal but to her were a huge deal (basically she has favorites in the family, and if you are say, late with a birthday card by a week, that is a huge deal). I always dread going to her place because there is nothing to do and she doesn't really talk to us. I have to babysit her tomorrow and that won't be fun. I'm going to get out of here before she gets here today I hope.Comment

About the pains it could be an infection or maybe you have gallstones and going to pass it out through your urine as I did. That was by far one of the more scary experiences of my life as my grandfather died of cancer and the thing that alerted everyone to it was that he passed blood and it splattered everywhere in his bathroom. Granted, mine wasn't like that but peeing blood and being in pain is still scary. I actually cried for most of that morning and wondering if I was gonna die or something.
Oddly, it was the most tears i've ever cried in 5 years!Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: OS Off Topic
Speaking of vacation, I just returned from one. The trip back was quite eventful, though. We decided instead of going our normal route to get home for Spring Hill, FL to High Point, NC (Take I-75 North, then Highway 301 North to Jacksonville, get on I-95 North and take it to past Savannah where we would get on I-26 West, then get on I-77 North at Charleston, SC, then finally get on I-85 North at Charlotte which takes us to where I live), we were going to go another way just to shake things up. We just took I-75 North up into Georgia and past Macon to Atlanta, where we were going to get on I-85 North there and take that through Charlotte all the way to High Point. Anyways, we knew it would be longer anyways, but about five traffic jams turned our typical 10 hour trip into a 14-and-a-half hour nightmare of a ride. Well, maybe not a nightmare, but it was long. There was so much construction and traffic jams going on from Macon to Atlanta. We were stuck in downtown Atlanta for over an hour because they closed off the right three lanes (out of six lanes) because there was construction going on. Anyways, once we got through Atlanta it was smooth sailing all the way on North 85.
I don't think I'll be going that way anymore. I'm not sure if I ever want to go through Atlanta anymore with that traffic! On the bright side, I got to see Atlanta for the first time, albeit on the interstate. I saw Turner Field and Georgia Tech's campus from the road at least!Comment

My office roommate is on a short vacation until Sunday, so I'm alone here. I like it better, sitting alone in my room is much better. I wish it were like that every day...My Specs:

Re: OS Off Topic
So today I moved to the office next to where I used to sit. My supervisor came to me at about 1:30pm and said: "You're moving today, let me know before you go to lunch (I usually go around 2:30) and I'll help you move your stuff there". And he really took the stuff and moved it - my iMac, keyboard, trays etc. It's better sitting in the new room, but it took me a month and a half to get a key to the previous room, now it's starting all over...My Specs:

My uncle uses some kind of breathing machine. It basically just pumps cold air into his nose and mouth while he's sleeping. He only wears it at night and says it has helped him SO much... He swears by it.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? No one can seem to kill the right one.Comment
