Can someone point me in a good direction for a new LCD HDTV for around $899.99? I like the 42" Vizio. Any better options out there?

I don't think it is a bad idea at all either, especially with a sport as affected by it as baseball. The storms will probably affect a lot of the games with the teams in the running for the NL playoffs so it seems like a good idea to cover the weather.

NFL Countdown has been doing this for a while also, when they go around to each game and the field reporter usually gives a weather report. It's not like its a new idea.

I hate watching bad weather games, they're always sloppy and not fun to watch.

I love bad weather games, but mostly snow. That Buffalo-Cleveland game last year was awesome to watch. You could barely see the players! I guess it was a sloppy 8-0 game but it was still a blast to watch. Wish we could've been on the winning end of it though...

I do love snow games but I hate the muddy/overly rainy games.

I love snow games too. That Buffalo/Cleveland game last year was fun fun fun. I still haven't watched the snowplow game yet but that was another classic snow game.

Anyways onto today....So I got new glasses and well the top side of the lenses is nearly identical in strength but the optometrist decided to weaken the bifocal strength in the hopes of strengthening my eye muscles a bit. I feel half blind here! Nonetheless i'm giving it a week or so with this RX and see how it goes.

I sent my resume to a dollar store that's looking for work. I saw the ad in the paper last night and gave it a shot. Seems like it could work out as I will be getting a phone call and might get an interview as early as Monday. Hopefully it doesn't conflict with my meeting I have scheduled that day.

I'm feeling tired after lunch which never helps. 3 more hours to go...some exciting NBA 2k9 news would help.

I have a feeling this is going to be a long weekend. Later today I have to pick up my tuxedo, then head over for my sister's wedding dinner rehearsal. Tomorrow is the wedding and all that fun stuff. Sunday, family is coming over and visiting for the day.

We finally have that perfect weather down here in Florida, where it makes you want to be outside for more than 30 seconds.

Watching football games in the snow is awesome, especially in this day and age with HD. I remember that Sunday or Monday night game at Seattle two years ago, I had no interest in the game but it was snowing like crazy so I watched it from start to finish.
