Just found the perfect second job - reffing HS/AAU basketball games. Gotta get certified obviously but that won't be a problem for me.

You have to start your first three years doing freshman or JV games which pays $60 per game. After that varsity games are $85 a pop.

In the spring/summer/fall AAU will pay even more since there are more tournaments and games. Those games go for $30 or so each but they are usually 45 minutes so it's a pretty good deal.

In the winter I should be able to make an extra $450/mo or so before taxes and during AAU it'll probably be near $600. That will definitely help me out and it's involves the thing I love most in this world!

Yessir. I just graduated High School and I'm reffing High School Basketball and Mens games around the city. It starts at 30 a game and I can move my way up to 40 within a few years. It's a great second job, and it really helps if you know the game. I didn't even need to take clinics or anything, they just had us ref some Exhibition games and put us where we thought we could ref. Most of those guys were stuck in Freshman/Girls games, so it's nice to not have to start at the bottom.


Anyways.. My situation:

- 18 years Old
- First year University student
- In love with a girl whom I've been with since only June
- She's pregnant.

It didn't make sense, because she's been on the pill the entire time, but there were times where she missed and doubled up the next day. It's been about 5 weeks.

My parents don't know yet. Actually, the only people that do know is her best friend, my brother and her sister in law. I can't say that 100% ready to be a father, but I'm ready to man up and take responsibility. Looking for a full time job right now where I can work 4-12, and then I have my reffing on the side on the weekends.

If we decide that it would be unfair to bring a child into our situation, then our other option is adoption.

She's going to a doctor this afternoon. I want her to be seen by a doctor before I tell my parents and the world begins to know. I just had to let this all out right now, it helps just to tell someone. I hate hiding things, especially this important.

hey man, not yet. sadly i have not even been to a game. i am off at college, and have been home only for fall break. i tried to get back for the clemson game, but tickets were sold out. and with me being at college my fam gave up our season tickets. how is it? it looks incredible from the outside.

Youngstown isn't really know for there women, but this freshman class is very, VERY promising. Pretty hot chicks. Like they got turned down for Ohio State and decided to go to YSU.

Sorry to hear things haven't changed since I graduated in '99. Not much then either. Hopefully things start to pick up in Y-town.
