I can't sleep....That's what I get for napping at 7 PM.

I laid down for a nap yesterday at around 3:30pm. Wife calls to tell me she's on her way home from work at 5:30 (Why do they do that? You work 5 minutes from home. I'll find out you're home soon enough!).

Anyway...all I heard was, "on my way" and "work", and I looked up at the clock and saw 5:30, looked out the window and saw it was dark, and started freaking out because I thought I was an hour and a half late for work!

I started yelling at her, asking why she left for work without waking me up. Then, she explained it was 5:30 PM...and my heart began beating again.

Yeah, I love my job too...but there certainly is more than ONE thing that I DON'T like about it. The pay could be higher. The commute could be shorter. The dress code could be a bit more lax. The chairs could be comfier. The studios could be newer and cleaner. The sales girls could be a bit hotter.

You know...the important stuff.

Funny thing about the chairs is they just rebuilt our talk studios a year ago. They got 6 new comfy chairs in there for 3 people and the occasional guest. There's ALWAYS someone in the control room yet we didn't get jack.

What? My *** isn't good enough for a new chair?

Wow, i got a grand total of 92 minutes of sleep last night. I stayed down at the hospital with my family and passed out in a chair, and then realized i had to get in to work. Not a good feeling. Luckily, my wife is bringing me a change of clothes, and i can head down to the executive locker room (even though im not an executive) and shower up

Got stuck for 15 minutes driving through town behind a guy going 30 km an hour (speed limit is 50 km). I felt like I was in the Macy's Day Parade.

I absolutely hate this. Had someone going 35 in a 50 on my way to a story tonight, drives me nuts.

My semester started out very ****ty but has turned into a preety solid one. I ****ed up my mid term in Intl. Relations (Class average was a D-), but got back my paper yesterday and got an A+. Plus the prof told us he was much more pleased with the results in the second midterm...

I should reward myself with booze tonight.
