Re: OS Off Topic
I'd handle it a lot differently, but that's because my friends don't follow the Bros Before Ho's rule.Comment

Re: OS Off Topic
Just set several alarms. If you set like three alarms, you're bound to hear one of them. I used to have this problem, as well, but now I can easily get up when the alarm sounds. In fact, I often wake up just before the alarm goes off.Comment

Re: OS Off Topic
I was reading my local newspaper headlines and I saw "Man found dead at city cemetery." Seriously?
WAYNESBORO — A local man was found dead at Riverview Cemetery about 12:30 p.m. Friday, according to Waynesboro Police Sgt. Kelly Walker.
Police would not release the man’s name or cause of death until they receive a coroner’s report.
Police were notified of the man’s death via a 911 call. Foul play is not suspected.

Re: OS Off Topic
So I actually fell asleep relativity early (10:30) last night, and was hoping I could get 8 hours of sleep. Of course that didn't happen and I woke up at 4 AM. Wouldn't have been too terrible normally but I'm going to the KU-UT game and I'll probably be exhausted come halftime.Comment

Jean-Paul: Man, it wasn't the snooze. Most people think it was the snooze, but no, no snooze.
Jerry: AM/PM.
Jean-Paul: Man, it wasn't the AM/PM. It was the volume.
Jerry: Ah...the volume.
Jean-Paul: Yes, the volume. There was a separate knob for the radio alarm.
Jerry: Ah, separate knob.
Jean-Paul: Yes, separate knob. Why separate knob?! Why separate knob?! (frustrated)
Jerry: Some people like to have the radio alarm a little louder than the radio.
Jean-Paul: Oh, please, man, please!
When I was just a little boy
I asked my father what would he be
Is he like Wrighty, or Titi henry?
Here’s what he said to meoh Vela Vela, our Mexican superstar
He’s better than Lou Saha

Jerry: (pause) So what happened? The snooze alarm, wasn't it?

Re: OS Off Topic
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!Comment
