I'm getting absolutely furious with my mom. She rung up a $609 phone bill and is buying so much crap it's driving me crazy. It's just the two of us so we're fine, but I'm getting pissed by how carelessly the money is being thrown around. We're in the middle of an economic crisis and she's spending like it's going out of business.

We have a "joint account" which is for emergency cases for me and I never touch it, I have my own money. BUT it gives me the ability to see what she uses the money in that account for.

I see the $609 phone bill and I'm the one who signed her up for the plan in the first place so I know her # and password. I go look at the bill and it's all because of 930 daytime minutes @ .45/minute.

I'm so furious I can't even go to sleep right now. I'm hoping time just shoots forward to about 8am so I can call her up and ask her about it.

Be more f'n responsible with your f'n money!!!

I usually don't get too upset but I am livid right now. I feel like the adult.

Oh and I'm tempted to go call the # I see pop up constantly on the bill. I'm 100% asking her who this person is.

BTW she has a f'n land line!!!! USE IT!

At least you realized you are having a tough time and that alcohol is not what you need. Some people never get that mesage til it's too late.

Stewaat, im in the same boat, but instead of my mom, its my brother. He was married, going through a divorce and he (like everyone else) is getting nailed with hosue prices, so what does he do? He goes out and buys a new 09 truck last night when he had an 07 Jeep Commander in perfect shape. His payment goe sup 250 a month, and he's losing his wife's money (she was the bigger breadwinner). What the heck are you thinking?

I ended up having an allergic reaction to something (dont know what it is yet)....my face is swollen and I have hives on my face and shoulders.

I have a date with this chick tonight and, obviously, Thanksgiving tomorrow.

I understand your anger, but you're directing it the wrong way. The person you should be pissed at is LBJ.

All he has to do is come out and say he is staying in Cleveland no matter what. But instead, he keeps dancing around the subject.

Well on my 2nd try at getting new glasses I think I got the right RX. The RX isn't as strong as the last one but it's doable

I quite like the frame that i'm wearing as well.
