Yeah its been slow as well where i work (Chilis) People I think were just so scared with the economy that everyone was just saving money. But now that gas is getting so low, and Xmas is coming people are starting to spend again

I also work at Chili's in Hawaii. I'm sure the prices are inflated compared to the one you work at. A ribeye cost around $24. Burgers are around $11.

LOL small world. Well I guess ;-)

Yeah Ribeyes are 16 and burgers are typically 7 - 8.

I know the feeling... back in October my car was towed for being parked in an illegal zone, notwithstanding the fact that I parallel parked between two other cars (which were not towed) in a legal street parking zone. It sucks.

My ****ing car gets towed away because I don't have a permit to park there (I was like...two spots away from the completely full visitors section). I get pissed...storm off to this party all my friends were at. Don't feel like drinking anymore, so I just hang out for two hours and then walk about a mile-plus home in the 20 degree weather with just a sweatshirt on.

Now I gotta head out and spend 110 dollars that I don't have to bail my car out of lock-up and basically leave me with spare change in my bank account to make it until Christmas vacation.

That's my rant.

Damn, that's beat man. They towed it and not just left a ticket? Harsh.

I'd contest it and say there was a reason I had to park there.

The guy who runs the apartment complex also, supposedly, has a hand in the Amherst Towing company...so anytime he gets a car towed from his space, he makes a bit of profit.

I'd contest it...but it's really not worth going through all the hassle. It was 113 dollars to get it out and, technically, I was parked illegally since I wasn't in one of the visitor designated spots.

Oh well. Other than her passing out and scaring the **** out of me and my car getting towed...it was a pretty fun night. I feel out of it today, though, and don't really know why. I'm assuming I'm just tired and worn down.
