I'm pissed about having to work on Friday. Nobody is going to want to buy season tickets on New Years Day...people are just waiting until after the New Year to set their budgets and baseball is the last thing they are thinking about. Our owners are in Hawaii on the beach and refused to let us take Friday off while they sit on the beach and drink. Our staff is basically jerking around for 8 hours a day. It's a joke.

Does anyone else absolutely hate the use of the pronoun "we" when it comes to sports teams? Sorry bub, I like team "x", but THEY are going to sign and cut person "y", not WE.

WE don't need a new shooting guard/shortstop/quarterback...THEY need a new blah-blah-blah.

So many here do it, and man, it bugs me like an itch in the small of my back that I just can't scratch...GAH!!

I keep forgetting to ask this. Has anyone here tried the new Budweiser American Ale?

Absolutely terrible and a poor attempt to make the folks aware of the purchase of Budweiser by InBev that Bud is "still American".

It's total piss water...if you want a real beer stay away from all that Bud/Miller/Coors crap and buy ANYTHING else.

If they didn't have us, they wouldn't exist. We, the fans, put in our money so that these athletes can live in luxury, we pour out our heart to see the team we care about do well, and we are able to share in their depression/jubilation. I don't see why we can't say we.
